Captain: Nikolaos Demertzis
Cpt Nikos is a very experienced captain in the Charter Yacht Industry. He was born in 1960 and he is a Greek. He is a graduate of the Merchant Marine Academy of Syros and holds an A’ Class Diploma, while having almost 35 years of experience commanding yachts. In addition, his knowledge extends to the entire of the Mediterranean Sea, specializing in Greece, Croatia, Montenegro, Italy, Turkey, Israel and Egypt, including secret bays and unknown to most islands. He has also crossed the Black & the Red Sea, including Aqaba Bay. During his long career in yachting he has served onboard M/Y Light Holic 60m, M/Y Jaz 51m, M/Y Optasia 85m, M/Y O’Pari 3 72m and many others. He has great organizational and crew management skills and always desires to deliver the highest level of services. He loves preparing tailor made cruises and exceeding guests’ requirements guaranteeing an unforgettable charter experience. Captain Nikos speaks fluent English and he loves diving, fishing and culinary art.

Chief Officer : Minas Serfas
Minas was born in 1991. He holds a B’ Class Captain Cerificate and all the relevant certificates of a seaman. He loves watersports and he also holds a speed boat license. He started his career on board passenger ships and then entered yachting industry onboard M/Y Light Holic. Minas is known for his pleasant personality, positive energy, and proactive approach, all of which contribute to creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests onboard. His natural leadership and professionalism ensure smooth deck operations and excellent crew coordination. In his spare time he loves fishing, swimming, travelling and playing football.

Chief Engineer: Alexandros Laopodis
Alexandros was born in 1988 and he is a graduate of the Merchant Marine Academy of Aspropyrgos. He started his career onboard commercial ships and then entered to the yachting industry serving in various yachts such as M/Y Light Holic 62m and M/Y Sorrento 63m. He is very cooperative and willing person and ensures that every system works perfectly and is maintained to the highest standards. He is a Greek national and speaks English and French. His interests are swimming, cycling, travelling and restoration of vehicles.

2nd Engineer: Giorgos Molyviatis
Giorgos was born in 1983 in Athens. He is a graduate of Hellenic Merchant Marine Academy and he has all relevant certificates of a seaman. The yachting industry seduced him very early and for this reason he has been working at yachts since 2008. He has served onboard M/Y Monaco, M/Y Light Holic, M/Y Sorrento. He is an experienced person in maintenance of all the equipment and machinery of the engine room. He loves watersports and travelling.

3rd Engineer: George Sofras
George was born in 1998. He is a graduate of Hellenic Merchant Marine Academy and he has also a speed boat license. He served onboard many passenger vessels and then transitioned to yachting. He always supports his team and fits perfectly in ITOTO’s crew. He speaks English and he loves travelling.


Chef: Nikos Samarniotis
Nikos was born in 1987 in Greece. He holds a bachelor degree in Economics however as his heart was always belonged to cooking he decided to become a chef. He holds a Diploma in Culinary Arts by the Etoile by les Chefs College and started his career at various restaurants. From 2015 until 2017 he moved to Paris, France to expand his experience in international and French cuisine. There he worked at Walt’s Restaurant and Le Calife restaurant. When he returned to Greece he worked as a chef at gourmet restaurants and 5 star hotels such as Nolan restaurant, Amanzoe Hotel, Daios Cove Hotel and Athens Capital MGallery hotel. At the same time he offered his services as a private Chef for VIP clients. He is very talented, a Chef with a great knowledge of Mediterranean and International cuisines. Nikos is professional and dedicated and an expert in preparing tailor made menus. He is very creative and competent and he can satisfy the most demanding guests. He speaks English.

Sous Chef : Fotis Fountoukas
Fotis was born in 1989 and he is a Greek national. He holds a degree in culinary arts from Le Monde Culinary Institute and has attended many seminars such as Traditional French festive Cuisine, Health Protocol and Food Safety etc. Having spent 11 years as a Chef at modern and traditional cuisine restaurants, such as Noel, El Jiron etc, Fotis is able to apply his knowledge to the guests’ requirements on board ITOTO. He has all the requirements to deal with all the daily responsibilities of a chef on board and prepare delicious dishes. He is a responsible person with excellent organizational and communicational skills. Fotis speaks English.

Chief Steward: Charalampos Varvaresos
Charalampos was born in 1972 and he is a Greek national. He holds a Steward license Class A’, Silver Service. He has an extensive experience of 26 years in Hospitality and yachting industry by serving onboard M/Y S Cape, M/Y Darling Danama, M/Y Grand Ocean, M/Y Serenity, M/Y Chakra. He started his career onboard cruise ships and he has been involved with restaurant, bar & wine service due to his Oenology knowledge. Charalampos is a professional steward, who offers highly attentive service and has an eye for detail. With his pleasant and welcoming personality caters for every guest’s needs making everyone feel like home. He speaks English, Spanish and French and his interests are fishing, playing football, gardening and reading.

2nd Stewardess : Anastasia Spodynska
Anastasia was born in 1991 and she is Ukrainian. She holds a stewardess certificate and certificates in massage and visage therapies. She started her career onboard cruise ships and entered the yachting industry in 2016 onboard M/Y Palmarina and since then she has served onboard many yachts such as M/Y Grand Ocean, M/Y Serenity, M/Y Chakra. Anastasia is a highly experienced in fine dining, silver service and customer service. She is a great team player with excellent interpersonal and social skills. She speaks Greek, Russian and Ukrainian and enjoys travelling and dancing.

3rd Stewardess: Olena Sukovata
Olena was born in 2002 and she is Ukrainian. She has graduated from Odessa National Maritime Academy sector Maritime Law and Management and during her career she has worked in Customer service for various hotels in Bulgaria. Before joining M/Y Itoto she served onboard M/Y Chakra. She is responsible and friendly, always with a smile offering refined service to the guests onboard. She speaks Greek, English, Russian and Ukrainian and her hobbies are cooking, travelling and driving.


4th Stewardess: Ehine Arutiunian
Ehine was born in 1998 in Ukraine. She started her career onboard cruise ships and then entered yachting industry in 2021 onboard various yachts such as M/Y Tueq, M/Y Al Salamah, M/Y Chakra. She is responsible and friendly, always with a smile offering the best service to the clients onboard. Ehine speaks English, Russian and Ukrainian and her hobbies are travelling, driving and playing football.


5th Stewardess: Alexia Stathatou
Alexia was born in 1972 in Greece. She holds a degree in Administration and Economics and during her career she has worked in Customer service for various hotels as Intercontinental, Caravel, Divani Palace & Divani Suites. She is responsible and friendly, always with a smile offering the best service to the clients onboard. She speaks English and her hobbies are tennis, swimming and music.


Bosun : Anastasis Tsoulfas
Anastasis was born in 1983 and he is a Greek national. He holds a speed boat license, a PADI open water license and numerous certificates. He has served onboard various yachts such as M/Y Kappa, M/Y Magix. He has a great experience in all water sports ensuring all guests will enjoy the Greek sea. Anastasis is a very energetic and communicative person and he speaks English. At his spare time he likes jet-skiing and fishing. With strong teamwork abilities, technical versatility, and a solid educational foundation, Anastasis brings both reliability and depth to every role he takes on.


AB: Evagoras Biniaris
Evagoras, born in 2002 is a dedicated and adaptable seaman with a diverse background in economics, fitness, and audiovisual technology. He holds a degree in Economics from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and is a certified Personal Trainer. He speaks English and basic German. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys spearfishing, traveling, and watching films—interests that reflect both his adventurous nature and creative mindset.

AB : Thanos Bramos
Thanos was born in 2000 and he is a Greek national. He holds a Captain B’ Class diploma from Merchant Marine Academy of Aspropyrgos. He has all the necessary certificates of a seaman. He started his career onboard commercial ships and then joined yachting industry in 2023 onboard M/Y ITASCA. He loves teamwork and at his spare time he loves playing sports and working out. He enjoys spearfishing, snorkelling, reading, hiking and listening to music. Thanos speaks English.


AB: David Melani
David was born in 1997 and he is a Greek national. He has a speed boat license and all his necessary certificates. David is a very hard working person who started his career in 2019 onboard M/Y Althea. He joined M/Y Itoto’s amazing crew in 2024. David speaks English and enjoys travelling and swimming.

Wie funktioniert der Chartervertrag?

Der Vertrag wird direkt zwischen dem Eigner und dem Kunden abgeschlossen, unterstützt durch den Broker. Er basiert in der Regel auf dem internationalen MYBA-Vertragsmodell, das entwickelt wurde, um beiden Parteien klare und ausgewogene Sicherheiten zu bieten.
Zudem gibt es die Figur des Stakeholders, der für die sichere Verwahrung der Gelder bis zum Ende des Charters verantwortlich ist.

Was ist in der Chartergebühr enthalten?

Der Basispreis umfasst die Miete der Yacht, die Nutzung der gesamten Bordausrüstung, die Anwesenheit der Crew sowie den entsprechenden Versicherungsschutz.
Betriebskosten wie Treibstoff, Verpflegung, Hafengebühren, Getränke und zusätzliche Aktivitäten sind ausgeschlossen und werden über die APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance) abgerechnet.

Die genaue Liste der enthaltenen bzw. ausgeschlossenen Leistungen wird bei der Auswahl der Yacht bestätigt.

Was ist die APA und wie funktioniert sie?

Die APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance) ist ein im Voraus bereitgestellter Betrag, in der Regel 25–35% der Chartergebühr, der zur Deckung der Betriebskosten dient: Treibstoff, Verpflegung, Hafengebühren, kostenpflichtige Aktivitäten, Getränke sowie persönliche Wünsche der Gäste.

Am Ende des Charters legt der Kapitän eine detaillierte Aufstellung aller Ausgaben vor. Nicht verbrauchte Beträge werden dem Kunden zurückerstattet, während etwaige Überschreitungen beim Charterabschluss beglichen werden.

Wie erfolgen die Zahlungen?

Bei Vertragunterzeichnung ist eine Zahlung von 50% des Gesamtbetrags fällig.
Der Restbetrag — einschließlich APA, Steuern und eventueller zusätzlicher Gebühren — wird in der Regel etwa fünf Wochen vor dem Einschiffen verlangt (abhängig vom Eigner).
Die Zahlungen erfolgen per Banküberweisung, dem üblichen Standard im Luxus-Charterbereich.

Kann ich eine Buchung stornieren?

Ja, eine Stornierung ist möglich, allerdings gelten die vertraglich festgelegten Bestimmungen.
Grundsätzlich behält der Eigner bei einer Absage durch den Kunden die bereits geleisteten Anzahlungen ein.

Wird die Yacht für denselben Zeitraum erneut verchartert, erstattet der Eigner den zurückerhaltenen Betrag, abzüglich der entsprechenden Provisionen.

Jede Stornierungsanfrage wird mit größtmöglicher Transparenz bearbeitet.

Wie finde ich die Yacht, die am besten zu meinen Bedürfnissen passt?

Die Wahl hängt in erster Linie von der Art des Erlebnisses ab, das du dir wünschst:

  • Motoryacht für maximalen Komfort, hohe Stabilität und schnelle Transfers.

  • Segelyacht für ein authentisches, ruhiges Erlebnis, das der traditionellen Seefahrt nahekommt.

  • Katamaran für großzügige Räume, überlegene Stabilität und mehr Privatsphäre.

Wie lange im Voraus sollte ich buchen?

Für die Hochsaison (Mittelmeer: Juni–September; Karibik: Dezember–April) empfiehlt es sich, mehrere Monate im Voraus zu buchen, um die besten verfügbaren Optionen zu sichern.

Können Menü, Vorlieben und Aktivitäten personalisiert werden?

Ja, selbstverständlich. Vor der Abreise erhältst du ein Preference Sheet, in dem du deine Geschmäcker, Ernährungsbedürfnisse, Allergien, Getränkewünsche und bevorzugten Aktivitäten angeben kannst.
Der Koch und der Kapitän nutzen diese Informationen, um ein vollständig maßgeschneidertes Erlebnis für dich zu gestalten.

Wie viele Personen können an Bord untergebracht werden?

Die meisten Yachten können je nach Innenaufteilung 6 bis 12 Gäste aufnehmen.
Einige über 80 Meter lange Superyachten, die internationalen Zertifizierungen entsprechen, können bis zu 36 Personen beherbergen.

Werde ich während des Charters Internetzugang haben?

Die meisten Yachten bieten WLAN an Bord, entweder über Mobilfunknetze oder Satellitensysteme. Die Qualität und Geschwindigkeit der Verbindung können je nach Fahrgebiet und installierter Technik variieren.

Ist ein Trinkgeld für die Crew vorgesehen?

Ein Trinkgeld ist nicht verpflichtend, gilt jedoch als gängige Praxis, um die Arbeit der Crew zu würdigen.
Internationale Richtwerte empfehlen einen Betrag von 10–15% der Basis-Chartergebühr.
