Cpt.Panos was born in 1969 in Athens, Greece. He graduated from Merchant Μarine Academy in Hydra, in 1991. He is married and has one child. He has been in command of many renowned yachts for the past 25 years, PATHOS-MAGIX-OXYZEN-OURANOS before joining M/Y PROMETHEUS. He joined PROMETHEUS in 2024 with a lot of expectations and ambitions. With a vast experience of the Aegean & Ionian Sea destinations he can tailor make your ideal itinerary around the islands & assist you with arranging your onshore activities (half of
them in the Mediterranean Sea, mostly the south of France, and Italy) Cpt. Panos speaks English fluently - has a great sense of humor - & native Greek. His hobbies include cinema movies, walking, soccer, and scuba diving.

Chief Officer, Spyros Bakiris
Spyros, a Greek national born in 1991, graduated from the Merchant Marine Academy of Crete in 2017. He has amassed 11 years of maritime experience across various types of ships worldwide. In the past three years, he has served on superyachts, including M/Y Persefoni I, M/Y Elena V and M/Y Sofia. Hailing from an island, Spyros embodies a deep-seated passion for the sea and exceptional hospitality, making a career that combines his hobby and passion a natural choice. Timos was born in Athens, Greece, in 1976. After basic studies, he graduated from Aspropyrgos Merchant Marine Academy in 1998. Happily married to a wonderful wife, he also has two great children. He is fairly experienced in working on commercial yachts as he has already completed 18 years’ work on them, and he must happily mention that some four of the 18 years have been a great experience to him working with Cpt. Panos to MY Oxyzen & Highlander. His latest yacht, the m/y Ancallia, has been his responsibility for the past nine years, and he
had undertaken the job of upgrading the engine room. His travel experience includes all Greek islands as well as the south of France and Italy. He knows Greek as a native speaker and he is fluent in English too. His hobbies include swimming, going to the cinema movies and playing football.

2nd Engineer / Deck, Ioannis (John) Vagias
Giannis was born in 1999 in Athens, Greece and graduated from Merchant Marine Academy of Aspropyrgos in 2022. He started his maritime career working on tanker ships, gaining valuable technical experience before deciding to transition into the yachting industry. With a strong background in engineering and problem-solving, he is dedicated to maintaining the vessel’s mechanical systems at peak performance. Fluent in English and a native Greek speaker, Giannis works seamlessly with the crew to ensure smooth operations on board. In his free time, he enjoys cinema movies, traveling, and swimming, always eager to explore new places and experiences. His goal is to contribute to an unforgettable journey, making sure you have the best vacation possible.

Chef, Aggelos Tsirtsikos
Born in 1980 in Piraeus, married with two children, he is a talented and skilled Chef with a diverse background in various cuisines and cooking techniques. Bringing expertise from managing bustling private and charter yachts, they have catered to a wide array of international clients. Their culinary repertoire includes European, Asian, Middle Eastern, Mediterranean, and Greek cuisine, acquired through extensive training and courses. Additionally, they have worked on a previous yacht alongside Captain Panos on MY OXYZEN. In his spare time, he enjoys travelling, reading, and swimming.

Chief Steward, Athanasios Tsingas
Athanasios Tsingas was born in 1978 in Athens, Greece. He graduated from the Corfu Tourism School in 1998 with a degree in Tourism & Hospitality Management. His hospitality career began in 1997 and spans over two decades, having worked in luxury hotels, high-end restaurants & bars, a private island, and exclusive villas as a butler. He has also worked abroad in Belgium and Congo, where he was involved in setting up hospitality businesses and training staff, further enriching his experience and cultural adaptability. In 2022, he transitioned into the yachting industry, offering his extensive service expertise onboard. He has served on several private motor yachts, including M/Y Martina, M/Y Armonia, M/Y Mac, M/Y Tyndareo, and M/Y Prometheus. In 2025, he obtained a certification in Nursery & Infant Care, as he has a deep love for children. Athanasios is passionate about creating meaningful and memorable experiences for guests, ensuring that when they leave, they carry with them a cherished piece of their journey—and perhaps, a fond memory of him. He speaks Greek natively and English fluently. His hobbies include theatre, cinema, songwriting, and writing theatrical plays.

2nd Stewardess, Dimitra Palla
Friendly, discreet, and detail-oriented, she brings a warm and professional presence to the interior team. She is a Greek national born in 1983 and has joined yachting in 2015. She has a strong background in high-end hospitality, including roles as Butler, Head Butler, and House Manager in private residences, both in Greece and abroad. She holds a BA in Archaeology from the University of Athens and is certified in wine knowledge (WSET), adding a touch of culture and refinement to guest service. As Second Stewardess, she takes pride in contributing to a harmonious, guest-focused interior team - always aiming to create a welcoming, polished, and memorable experience at sea.


3rd Stewardess, Irina Maius Liliana
Irina was born in Bucharest in 1990 and has resided in Greece for the past 21 years. She is fluent in Romanian, Greek and English. Following a 17-year tenure in Luxury Hospitality, she transitioned to the Yachting industry in 2020, commencing her journey aboard M/Y Alexandra as a rotational. Subsequently, captivated by the yachting industry, she chose to pursue a career at sea. Irina has traversed Europe and extensively explored Greece through her work on various vessels. Her aptitude for hosting and assisting guests in crafting unforgettable holidays is a testament to her dedication and passion for the yachting realm. In Irina’s spare time, she enjoys exploring new destinations, connecting with people from around the globe, and sharing cultural insights.

Bosun, Christos (Chris) Kantzilidis
Christos was born in 1978 in Koln Germany and studied in Merchant Marine Academy of Thessaloniki. Chris has over 12 years of Superyacht experience in the bosun position. He has worked at sea since he was 20, always feeling at home on the water. He worked in the past with captain Panos at Ouranos, Pathos and Highlander yachts for six seasons. Hard working with excellent attention to detail. Chris is a watersport sinstructor and his responsibilities include Prometheus' wide array of watersports activities. Chris will ensure that guests are looked after in a safe, yet fun manner. He is a keen jet skier, enjoys outdoor activities and is dedicated to giving customers the best experience possible on-board Prometheus.

Junior Deckhand, Nick Prevezianos
Nick Prevezianos, a Greek national born in November 1995, is a native Greek speaker and speaks English fluently. He joined the yachting industry in 2022, driven by a strong passion for the sea and a natural aptitude for hands-on, outdoor work. With no prior background in the maritime field, he entered the industry directly as a deckhand on fast motor yachts offering daily cruises and short-term charters around the Cyclades, primarily based in Santorini. His experience includes the M/Y Frog (19.2m) and M/Y Tranquillius (15.89m), where he developed his skills in line handling, docking, cleaning, and guest interaction. Eager to grow within the professional yachting sector, Nick recently decided to transition into the world of larger luxury yachts. He is known for his strong work ethic, positive attitude, and ability to quickly adapt to new challenges. In his free time, Nick enjoys swimming, fishing, paddle sports, and football.

How does the charter contract work?

The contract is signed directly between the Owner and the Charterer, with the support of the broker. It is usually based on the international MYBA contract model, designed to ensure clear and balanced protection for both parties.
There is also the figure of the Stakeholder, responsible for safely holding the funds until the end of the charter.

What is included in the charter fee?

The base rate includes the rental of the yacht, the use of all onboard equipment, the presence of the crew, and the related insurance coverage.
Operational expenses such as fuel, provisioning, marina fees, beverages, and additional activities are not included and are managed through the APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance).

The exact list of what is included or excluded will be confirmed when selecting the yacht.

What is the APA and how does it work?

The APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance) is an advance fund, usually equal to 25–35% of the charter fee, allocated to cover operational expenses such as fuel, provisioning, marina fees, paid activities, beverages, and the guests’ personalized requests.

At the end of the cruise, the Captain provides a detailed breakdown of all expenditures. Any unused amount is refunded to the client, while any overages are settled directly upon closing the charter.

What are the payment terms?

Upon signing the contract, a payment of 50% of the total amount is required.
The balance — including APA, taxes, and any additional charges — is typically due around five weeks before embarkation (depending on the owner).
Payments are made via bank transfer, which is the standard method in the luxury charter industry.

Can I cancel a booking?

Yes, cancellations are possible, but the contractual terms apply.
In general, if the client decides to withdraw, the Owner retains the deposits already paid.

If the yacht is rebooked for the same period, the Owner refunds the amount recovered, minus the applicable commissions.

Every cancellation request is handled with full transparency.

How can I choose the yacht that best suits my needs?

The choice depends primarily on the type of experience you wish to enjoy:

  • Motor yacht for maximum comfort, excellent stability, and fast transfers.

  • Sailing yacht for an authentic, quiet experience rooted in traditional navigation.

  • Catamaran for generous spaces, superior stability, and enhanced privacy.

How far in advance should I book?

For peak season (Mediterranean: June–September; Caribbean: December–April), it is advisable to book several months in advance to secure the best available options.
We can also handle last-minute requests, depending on availability and licensing requirements.

Is it possible to personalise menus, preferences, and activities?

Absolutely. Before departure, you will receive a Preference Sheet where you can indicate your tastes, dietary needs, allergies, beverage preferences, and the activities you wish to enjoy.
The Chef and the Captain will use this information to create a fully customised experience for you.

How many guests can be accommodated on board?

Most yachts can host 6 to 12 guests, depending on their interior layout.
Some superyachts over 80 metres, compliant with international certifications, can accommodate up to 36 guests.

Will I have Internet access during the charter?

Most yachts offer Wi-Fi on board, provided through mobile networks or satellite systems. The quality and speed of the connection may vary depending on the cruising area and the technology installed.

Is tipping the crew expected?

Tipping is not mandatory, but it is a well-established custom to show appreciation for the crew’s service.
International guidelines suggest an amount equal to 10–15% of the base charter fee as a reference.
