Panos was born in 1978 in Piraeus, Greece. He holds a STCW A' class Captain's diploma from the Merchant Marine Academy of Aspropyrgos in Athens. Panos holds an open sea skipper diploma and numerous certificates such as RO-RO and passenger ships certificate, SSO Ship’s Security Officer Certificate, Advanced Life Saving and Fire Fighting Appliances Certificate (STCW), speed boat license, Medical care and Hazardous materials and Crisis Management etc. He started his career in various merchant and ferry ships and in 2004 he joined the yachting industry. Before joining Capri in 2016 he has served in many yachts such as Nicola ii 25m charter yacht, Paradis 37m charter yacht, Vera 52m charter yacht, Pia 36m private yacht and Melige 34m private yacht. He is a great commander of the yacht ensuring the safety of all passengers and expert in organising his crew. Panos is highly experienced in the Mediterranean Sea and he loves creating tailor made cruises according to guests’ requests. Panos speaks English and Greek. He is married with one child and he loves music and scuba diving

Chief Officer: Markellos Polikandriotis (Greek)
Markellos was born in 1995 in Piraeus and has graduated from the Merchant Marine Academy of Hydra. He holds a Captain Class C’ diploma and all the necessary certificates and professional qualifications. He also holds a skipper’s licence. In his past experience he has worked in various merchant ships. In 2021 he joined the yacht industry as a chief officer in many yachts such as AE Cap D’Antibes 60m charter yacht, O`ptasia 85m charter yacht. Markellos speaks English and Greek and in his free he enjoys music, literature reading and scuba diving.


Chief Engineer: Yannis Karydis (Greek)
Yannis was born in 1985 in Athens and has graduated from technical institute of Athens in 2010. He holds an STCW C' Class Engineer’s diploma. He joined the yacht industry in 2011 as an engineer in many yachts until now such as Elegant 007 73m charter yacht, Lost 25m private yacht, I Sea 40m charter yacht. Yannis’s experience ensures that everything works perfectly on M/Y Capri i. He speaks English, Spanish and Greek. Yannis is married with two children and in his free time he enjoys travelling, fishing, listening to music and reading.





2nd Engineer: Sotiris Machairas (Greek)
Sotiris was born in 1993 in Athens. He holds a C’ Class Diploma in Engineering from the Merchant Marine Academy of Chios, a Bachelor Degree in Engineering from the University of West Attica and all the necessary certificates for his position. He started his career in 2017 working in the field of fuel maintenance and then onboard merchant ships. He entered yachting industry in 2023 onboard M/Y SEAHORSE. Sotiris speaks English and at his spare time he enjoys spearfishing, swimming, diving, windsurfing and playing tennis.


Chef: Giannis Karageorgiou (Greek)
Giannis was born in 1971 and he is a Greek national. He is a graduate from Le Monde Culinary School and he also holds a ship’s cook certificate from Blue Water in Antibes. He has attended many seminars regarding food safety, Asian , Indian, French, Italian & Multi Ethnic cuisine. He has worked in many famous restaurants such as The Margi Luxury Hotel’s restaurant in Athens, Elaikon Greek restaurant etc. He started working on yachts in 2006, and since them he had served on board Avant Garde, Ledra, Obsession, and Proteus before joining Capri I in 2023. He speaks English, French & Italian and he is an expert in Greek, French, Italian, Asian and Mediterranean cuisine. He has also great knowledge of pastry and sweets. He is always ready to give a hand to the team. When he is not cooking, he enjoys swimming, going to the gym, cinema and travelling.

Sous Chef: Kyriakos Katsiadramis
Kyriakos was born in 1984 and he holds a diploma in Culinary Arts from Delta Culinary Institute in Athens. After gaining his diploma, he has continued growing his knowledge of the Mediterranean and International cuisines by attending numerous seminars. Kyriakos has worked as a chef in luxury restaurants and hotels around Greece such as Divani Apollon Palace & Thalasso 5star hotel and Catch Bar Restaurant in Santorini. He enjoys being at sea as it allows him to travel and combine various local products making the guests’ experience an unforgettable one. Kyriakos speaks fluent English.

Chief Stewardess: Yuliya Savenko (Ukrainian)
Yuliya was born in 1981 in Ukraine. She joined the yachting industry in 2006 and since then she has gained a vast amount of experience on board various charter mega yachts as chief stewardess, including M/Y Sunrise (52m), M/Y Alexandra (50m), P/V Moonlight II (92m) and M/Y Ionian Princess (46m) . After being onboard M/Y Capri I during the season 2019 and 2020, she returns back with a deep familiarity and strong connection to the yacht since she knows every corner of the yacht and brings back her energy and experience. She is extremely professional with excellent organisational skills, very active with a lovely and friendly personality. She is hardworking, responsible and always gives her outmost to offer a flawless service. She has attended numerous seminars such as purser courses, crowd and crisis management and anger management essentials and received special training in luxury hospitality, bartending, mixology, food hygiene & safety level 2(where she gained an award in 2019) and she offers top quality service on board Capri I. She loves children and has also experience in nanny duties. She speaks English, Russian and Greek. She loves spending time with her children and her hobbies are reading, music and running.

2nd Steward: Jr de la Cuesta (Greek-Fillippino)
Jr was born in 1983 in Philippines and has graduated from the DSNT academy in Manila. Jr is very happy person always smiley but the same time very serious professional and very experienced in his work. He has worked in many yachts such as Let it be 40m charter yacht, Vera 52m charter yacht, Melige 34m private yacht, and Nicola ii 25m charter yacht. Jr is single and he is an amateur dj. He speaks English, Greek and Pilipino.

Stewardess: Raigie Kondi Pano (Philipino)
Raigie was born in 1982 in Manilla and is a graduate of the Philippine Christian University with a Bachelor of Sience in Office Administration and a Major in Computer Education. Raigie is highly motivated and enthusiastic person, very flexible and a great team player. She joined the yachting industry in 2007 and worked in many yachts such as M/Y Lullaby 36m, M/Y Dragon 37m and M/Y Lumar 34m. She holds all necessary certificates for her position such as firefighting, lifesaving, first aid etc. Raigie speaks English and Greek and loves computers.

Stewardess: Kiara Henderson (South African)
Kiara was born in 2002 and she has a Diploma in Nutrition, herbalism and graphic design. She has attended seminars in Yachting, Food & Beverage service and Wine, bartending and Mixology. Kiara has all the necessary certificates for her position as well as Silver Service certificate. She has great experience in housekeeping and hospitality from waitress in restaurants to head cook. Before joining M/Y CAPRI I, she has served on board M/Y Leonardo, M/Y Deniki and M/Y Mina. Kiara is a hardworking person who pays great attention to detail, reliable with a pleasant personality. She loves photography, Film & Theatre production and sports. Kiara speaks fluent English.

Stewardess: Alexandra Yakovleva (Russian)
Alexandra was born in 1981 in Kazan - Russia and has graduated from an art school. Alexandra is always in smiley with unlimited strength for her work. She joined the yacht industry in 2005 and worked in many yachts such as Carmen Fontana 40m charter yacht, Ekali 37m charter yacht and Proton 40m charter yacht. She is single and loves classical music, dance and travelling. Alexandra speaks English, Greek and Russian

Bosun : Tasos Zafiropoulos (Greek)
Tasos was born in 1983 in Athens. He holds a seaman’s certificate from the Hellenic ministry of mercantile marine, lifesaving & Firefighting certificate and a speedboat license. He entered the yachting industry in 2011 and his previous yachts among others are S/Y Gitana 36m M/Y Dora G 35m. He`s very active and friendly and safety is at the top of his priorities. He is married and he loves travelling, music, swimming and motorsport activities. Tasos speaks English and Greek.


AB: George Lykakis (Greek)
George was born in 2000 and has graduated the Merchant Marine Academy of Aspropyrgos as Deck Officer. He now continues his studies to obtain the Captain Class C diploma. He has experience in merchant ships and also in yachting; before joining Capri i in 2023 he has offered his services onboard M/Y Princess Sofia, M/Y Elysium, M/Y Optasia and M/Y Stella M. He is a detail-oriented and dedicated person, always maintaining the highest standards of safety and guests’ satisfaction. George is ready to assist his team anytime and ensure a smooth opeation. In his free time, he enjoys watersports, basketball and exploration. He speaks English and Greek.

AB: Manolis Maounis (Greek)
Manolis was born in 1984 and holds an able seaman’s diploma, a speed boat licence and all the necessary certificates for his position. He has served on board various passenger motor vessels and motor yachts such as M/Y Pandion. In 2018 joined the team of M/Y Capri i. He is a hardworking person with strong communication skills and a great team player. Manolis speaks Greek and English and he enjoys music.

AB: Ioannis Damalitis (Greek)
Ioannis was born in 1991. He has graduated from nautical school, he holds a deckhand, a skipper and a speed boat license. Before joining M/Y Capri I, he has served on board many yachts such as M/Y Akira One 50m. Ioannis is very outgoing and energetic person who loves working for his team. He speaks English.

How does the charter contract work?

The contract is signed directly between the Owner and the Charterer, with the support of the broker. It is usually based on the international MYBA contract model, designed to ensure clear and balanced protection for both parties.
There is also the figure of the Stakeholder, responsible for safely holding the funds until the end of the charter.

What is included in the charter fee?

The base rate includes the rental of the yacht, the use of all onboard equipment, the presence of the crew, and the related insurance coverage.
Operational expenses such as fuel, provisioning, marina fees, beverages, and additional activities are not included and are managed through the APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance).

The exact list of what is included or excluded will be confirmed when selecting the yacht.

What is the APA and how does it work?

The APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance) is an advance fund, usually equal to 25–35% of the charter fee, allocated to cover operational expenses such as fuel, provisioning, marina fees, paid activities, beverages, and the guests’ personalized requests.

At the end of the cruise, the Captain provides a detailed breakdown of all expenditures. Any unused amount is refunded to the client, while any overages are settled directly upon closing the charter.

What are the payment terms?

Upon signing the contract, a payment of 50% of the total amount is required.
The balance — including APA, taxes, and any additional charges — is typically due around five weeks before embarkation (depending on the owner).
Payments are made via bank transfer, which is the standard method in the luxury charter industry.

Can I cancel a booking?

Yes, cancellations are possible, but the contractual terms apply.
In general, if the client decides to withdraw, the Owner retains the deposits already paid.

If the yacht is rebooked for the same period, the Owner refunds the amount recovered, minus the applicable commissions.

Every cancellation request is handled with full transparency.

How can I choose the yacht that best suits my needs?

The choice depends primarily on the type of experience you wish to enjoy:

  • Motor yacht for maximum comfort, excellent stability, and fast transfers.

  • Sailing yacht for an authentic, quiet experience rooted in traditional navigation.

  • Catamaran for generous spaces, superior stability, and enhanced privacy.

How far in advance should I book?

For peak season (Mediterranean: June–September; Caribbean: December–April), it is advisable to book several months in advance to secure the best available options.

Is it possible to personalise menus, preferences, and activities?

Absolutely. Before departure, you will receive a Preference Sheet where you can indicate your tastes, dietary needs, allergies, beverage preferences, and the activities you wish to enjoy.
The Chef and the Captain will use this information to create a fully customised experience for you.

How many guests can be accommodated on board?

Most yachts can host 6 to 12 guests, depending on their interior layout.
Some superyachts over 80 metres, compliant with international certifications, can accommodate up to 36 guests.

Will I have Internet access during the charter?

Most yachts offer Wi-Fi on board, provided through mobile networks or satellite systems. The quality and speed of the connection may vary depending on the cruising area and the technology installed.

Is tipping the crew expected?

Tipping is not mandatory, but it is a well-established custom to show appreciation for the crew’s service.
International guidelines suggest an amount equal to 10–15% of the base charter fee as a reference.
