Day 1: Check-in

Arrival in Mauritius and welcome on your catamaran at La Balise Marina in Rivière Noire, located south west of the island. Boarding at 13h00 (01 :00 pm), for a briefing on safety and the program of the cruise. Departure to the lagoon of Benitier, only half an hour sailing away. You will spend the afternoon in this beautiful spot will admire the sunset and pending clear weather conditions you will even have the chance to see the high summit of Reunion Island on the horizon.

Day 2

When you wake up your guide will offer you to go and meet dolphins on a motor boat, if you booked the excursions package. Back to the catamaran, after breakfast, the crew will set sail to the lagoon of Mont Choisy. You will enjoy the rest of the day in this wonderful mooring. The beautiful beach shaded by filaos welcomes you for an idyllic swimming. Enjoy another sunset with the Moka mountain range in the background.

Day 3

After breakfast, relax and take advantage of the beautiful lagoon of Mont Choisy : swimming, snorkelling, kayaking. If you booked the excursions package, you will have the opportunity to visit the museum of sugar and the Garden of Pamplemousses. You will discover the lush vegetation and exceptional flora of this oldest botanical garden of the southern hemisphere and understand of the importance of the culture of sugar canes for the history of the island of Mauritius. After this excursion, the catamaran will sail north, and depending on the meteorological conditions, will moor at the bottom of Coin de Mire cliff or in Merville lagoon for a snorkelling session. The itinerary will stop for the night at Grand Baie, reputed beach resort which nightlife you may choose to discover, unless you prefer to spend a quiet evening on board.

Day 4

On Saturday morning, Grand Baie will wake up as slowly as you will. After a well-deserved sleep-in and a rich breakfast, you will take advantage of this morning to discover Grand Baie shops and stroll at your own rhythm. On this 4th day the minicruise passengers will disembark and we’ll welcome the guest boarding for the other minicruise. Your catamaran will sail to the very north of the island and will stop in Cap Malheureux bay for the night, with the famous red-roofed church as a sentinel.

Day 5

This morning you will have the opportunity to visit the Domaine de Labourdonnais Sugar Estate with its castle and its beautiful gardens, old orchards and rum factory (in the excursions package). On your way back you will be amazed by your visit of a world-renowned factory of model boats. After lunch on board, you will start sailing to L’Ile Plate and Ilot Gabriel. Depending on the meteorological conditions you will stop for snorkelling in the bay of Palissades or in the west coast of L’Ile Plate. Your catamaran will then moor in the lagoon of Ilot Gabriel. You will spent the afternoon as a Robinson Crusoe, discovering the beauty, the seclusion and the quietness of this mooring located in the middle of blue lagoon, between L’Ile Plate and Ilot Gabriel.

Day 6

After an early swim and a beautiful morning in these secluded islands, we will sail south west to the bay of Rivière Noire. Quiet night on the anchor in this fine fishermen village now converted into a favoured touristic location. A nice bay, protected from the winds by a majestic mountain range will be your scenery for the night.

Day 7

After a hearty breakfast, during the optional excursion you will visit the village of Chamarel where you will discover the magic of the coloured earths and the fantastic view on the lagoon. You will then visit a rum distillery and enjoy a delicious typical lunch. Then your catamaran will sail in this southern part of the island so that you can explore snorkelling and swimming spots. Depending on the sea, you will either disembark on the mythical beach of Tamarin or discover the mouth of Rempart river with a sea kayak... After this active day you will spend a quiet night at La Balise Marina, ready to pack your souvenirs and an the wonderful memories of this cruise. Disembarkation after lunch at 8h00 am.

Day 8: Check-out

Check-out is scheduled in the morning by 08:00.
