A graduate of the Merchant Marine Academy of Epirus with a Class A Captain’s certification, he has commanded vessels up to 204 meters and, since 2012, has specialized in luxury yachting with notable service on M/Y Tueq (80m), M/Y Salamah (140m), M/Y Billa (42m), M/Y Clia (40m), and M/Y Adams V (70m). Holding advanced qualifications in ship handling, ECDIS, firefighting, HAZMAT, medical care at sea, and safety management systems, he ensures every charter aboard M/Y Persefoni I is conducted with the highest levels of safety, professionalism, and enjoyment. Fluent in English and conversational in Italian, he combines technical expertise with a lifelong passion for the sea. George is a highly skilled and disciplined Chief Officer with extensive experience on both private and charter motor yachts ranging from 54m to 95m. Holding a Captain Class B’ License and a Master 1500 GT certification, he has developed strong leadership, navigation, and operational management skills. His background includes service aboard tankers and cruise ships, further refining his expertise in safety protocols, vessel handling, and international maritime regulations. He has navigated throughout the Mediterranean and Red Sea, ensuring smooth voyages and high-end guest experiences. In addition to his maritime credentials, Georgios holds a BSc in Psychology, bringing a well-rounded approach to crew management and teamwork. He is also a licensed sailing boat and speedboat operator, as well as an open water diver, further enhancing his versatility on board.
Name: Gregory Chandrinos
Position: Chief engineer

Gregory first step foot on a merchant yacht in 1997 as an apprentice engineer and his career took off from there. In 2004, he graduated as a 3rd Engineer and was then promoted to Chief Engineer after a few years. Gregory decided to join the yachting industry, where he has gained extensive knowledge of an engine room, among many other aspects. He holds many certificates in the industry, including a PADI Dive Master certificate, and dives every opportunity he gets. In addition to his engineering skills, Gregory is well-versed in tender handling and watersports, and enjoys DJing. He is fluent in English and Greek.

Stelios took his Marine Technician degree back in 2001 and worked ashore as engineer on a yachting authorized workshop. Later on, his love for the sea forced him to join the merchant marine academy and graduated as 3rd engineer in 2012, since then Stelios has been on different yachts that helped him gain experience and improve his skills. At his free time he does professional competition free- diving, spearfishing, apnea yoga and lots of watersports. Stelios speaks English and Greek fluently.

Sotiris is our award-winning executive chef onboard M/Y Persefoni I, with over 20 years of experience in high-end gastronomy, including roles in Michelin-starred restaurants and private residences around the world. Trained in France and Belgium, he has worked under renowned chefs such as Gordon Ramsay and served notable clients including Barack Obama and Roger Federer. His culinary style blends Mediterranean tradition with modern refinement, offering visually stunning and flavorful dishes tailored to each guest’s preferences. Fluent in French and proficient in English, Sotiris enjoys engaging with guests to craft unforgettable dining experiences. When not in the kitchen, he enjoys reading, films, and staying fit—bringing the same passion and discipline to his hobbies as he does to his cuisine.

Manik, an Armenian professional, ventured into the luxury yachting industry in 2020, bringing with her a background steeped in diverse experiences. She initiated her culinary journey at the Sivitanidios Culinary College. Before transitioning to yachting, Manik honed her customer service expertise in upscale luxury stores, fitness and wellness centers, and boutique hotels. During her leisure moments, she immerses herself in learning Spanish, refining her skills through training seminars—ranging from wine to beauty—and actively participating in Tourism & Hotel Business seminars at K.E.M.E.

Holding a Captain's Class C certificate, she honed her skills as an apprentice officer and deck cadet aboard passenger ships, becoming well-versed in all facets of maritime operations. Her robust communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and strong work ethic make her an invaluable asset to the team. Beyond her professional endeavors, Evi delights in discovering new destinations. She is fluent in both English and Greek.

Mary Ann is a dedicated and detail-oriented stewardess from the Philippines, bringing a strong hospitality background and a warm, guest-focused attitude to M/Y Persefoni I. With several years of experience in luxury yacht charters and private vessels, she has served aboard a variety of yachts under international flags, consistently praised for her reliability, adaptability, and high standards of service. Mary Ann is fluent in English and Filipino, with basic Greek skills, and has completed formal maritime training in guest service and safety procedures. Known for her positive demeanor, multitasking ability, and discretion, she ensures that every guest onboard receives seamless and attentive care. Mary Ann takes great pride in her work and maintains a professional appearance at all times, making her a valuable part of the interior team.

George is selfmotivated, organized, and a true team player. Prior to becoming a seaman, George worked as a security guard for high-profile individuals at a TV production company in Greece and completed military service on the Hellenic Special Forces. In addition to his work, George enjoys traveling, hiking, swimming, and participating in watersports. He also holds a scuba diving open water license.
