Nación: British
Idiomas hablados: English and French

Sarah Buttery
Stewardess

Nación: South African

Captain Will Morgan
Will grew up on the South West Coast of England where sailing and adventure sports were his primary focus. As a young adult he owned and maintained his own small sail and powerboats and took part in much coastal cruising and racing. Through sailing friends, Will began his professional sailing career delivering yachts to the Caribbean in 2009. Following the trade winds West he completed a 3 year circumnavigation under sail which set his sights on many future years of adventure sailing. Will has spent the past 12 years as a captain specializing in ‘off the beaten track’ adventure cruising and water-sports itineraries exploring many remote parts of the world - always in search of hidden cruising gems to share with guests.

Captain Dan Ross
Dan, born in Queensland, Australia and grew up on the beach, surfing, sailing, and enjoying the beach life. Through his twenties Dan spent his weekends sailing catamarans around the Whitsundays Islands and in 2009, Dan moved to the UK to broaden his yachting career; offshore racing, teaching yachting, and working as a Harbour Master in East Cowes, on the Isle of Wight. The cold UK climate couldn’t keep him for long, and Dan moved to super yachting, working his way up over the years from deckhand to captain, completing numerous Atlantic crossings, and racing yachts all over Europe and the Caribbean. In 2011, he met Bryony, and in 2013, they moved to Thailand, where Dan was the captain of a 60-foot sailing yacht, navigating and discovering the beautiful waters of Southeast Asia, with a special emphasis on the regions surrounding Thailand and Burma.
Dan’s experiences in remote areas ignited a passion for remote emergency care, particularly in high-risk environments. This led him to retrain as a paramedic, first in Malta and then in South Africa. After his training, Dan and Bryony moved to New Zealand, where Dan worked in several key safety and emergency response roles. While never actually hanging up their oilskins permanently and having spent all of their spare time on the water, after a few years of working on land, the call of the sea was irresistible. Dan and Bryony returned to yachting, and in mid 2024 joined Bundalong to explore the world’s oceans.

Stewardess Sarah Buttery
Sarah was born in sunny Durban, South Africa then immigrated with her family to the city of sails Auckland, New Zealand when she was a young teenager. Sarah has a genuine love of life, adventure, travel and people. Her love of the ocean and travel inspired her to pursue a career in yachting. Previously having spent years living aboard all over Europe and the US in both childcare and hospitality industries. Now with over twelve years experience in the yachting industry and private islands. She continues to enjoy her role in insuring that all guests needs are met to the highest standard and they have a truly enjoyable experience on board. Prior to joining S/Y Bundalong Sarah has worked on both motor yachts and sailing yachts extensively exploring all over the Mediterranean and Caribbean. Most recently she sailed from New Zealand to Alaska spending time in French Polynesia and Hawaii along the way. In her free time Sarah enjoys hiking, yoga photography and travelling. Sarah has found great joy in getting involved in the local community, volunteering and giving back when possible during her travels around the world.

Stewardess Bryony Dalby-Ball
Bryony grew up in the UK with a love of the ocean instilled upon her from an early age. At 21 she moved to Thailand to teach scuba diving and what was meant to be a six-month stay became five years, sparking her passion for Asia’s art and history. Bryony sailed across the Indian Ocean and Red Sea to Europe, embarking on a career from deck to stew to cook, working on private, charter and racing yachts, completing multiple trans-Atlantic crossings, gaining 40,000 nautical miles, and meeting her partner, Dan, along the way. Away from yachts, Bryony pursued a post-graduate degree in Asian Art and Archaeology and in 2012, she worked at the London Olympic and Paralympic Sailing Event, bringing her back to her first love, the sea.
Bryony and Dan moved to Thailand, where she worked as a yacht agent and charter broker specializing in the Andaman Sea and Burma. Moving to New Zealand in 2016, she ran cruise operations in Queenstown and later managed operations for a renowned – Kiwi owned expedition company. There, she coordinated small ship cruises to remote destinations such as Antarctica, Indonesia, and the Russian Far East. However, the allure of working at sea was too strong to resist, so Dan and Bryony decided to dive back into the yachting scene. By mid-2024, they found themselves aboard Bundalong, embarking on its world cruise.

Chef Lola Vuillemenot
Lola grew up in Rouen France. She attended the prestigious Hotelerie school Marcel Sauvage, Mont Saint Aignan before refining her skills in traditional French cuisine on home soil. Lola moved to French Polynesia in 2016 to pursue a career in fine dining and spent the next five years working between the land and sea in the remote Pacific Islands. Her first roles were spent working on Tahiti, before moving to Bora Bora as Chef de parti at 5-star Intercontinental Thalasso Resort and Spa. During her time working at some of the most luxurious resorts in the world, Lola developed an interest in all things marine and in 2019 stepped onboard her first catamaran as chef/stewardess. From there, there has been no looking back and Lola has worked throughout the French Polynesia, North America and the Caribbean. Always looking for new ways to grow as a chef, in 2022 Lola swapped beaches for the slopes and completed a ski season as Chef de parti at the 5-star Le Lana, Courchevel. Lola is keen to get back to her old stomping grounds of French Polynesia and is looking forward to sharing some of the best-kept secrets of the islands with Bundalong’s guests.

Chef Rosie Jones
Rosie grew up in Kingston, England spending summers kayaking on the River Thames. Her interest in food led her to attend the renowned Leiths School of Food and Wine in London at just 19, where she developed her culinary skills and gained experience in several prestigious restaurants. To complement her expertise, she earned her WSET Level 3 certification, refining her knowledge of wine tasting and pairing. Rosie’s early career included working on the popular cooking show Saturday Kitchen, where she collaborated with some of the UK’s top chefs. She later joined a luxury concierge service, specializing in exclusive dining experiences and sourcing rare wines, which provided her with a deeper understanding of London’s culinary scene. Craving new challenges, Rosie left London to work on flotillas in Croatia, Greece, and Thailand, where she also earned her diving qualifications. These experiences shaped her approach to cooking, as she embraced local ingredients and flavors from the diverse cuisines she encountered. Her sailing career has taken her to the British Virgin Islands and beyond, earning accolades for her service and culinary creativity. Rosie’s cooking reflects her journey, blending classic techniques with vibrant, seasonal flavors inspired by the places she’s explored. She is dedicated to creating dishes that celebrate regional ingredients while being mindful of sustainability and the communities that produce them.

Mate/Engineer Aaron Zingerman
Raised in the American Pacific Northwest, Aaron eventually voyaged to warmer water and the Aloha lifestyle of the Hawaiian Islands. Now continuing to sail with the ocean currents, he comes with over 13 years experience on vessels of all shapes and sizes. From dinghies to dinner cruises, duck boats to tug boats, and ferry docks to sailing yachts, Aaron has been a jack of many nautical trades.
As onboard adventure guide, Aaron enjoys surfing, diving, spearfishing, and all things involving good fun both on and off the water.
Whether atop the mast or behind the bar, you can catch Aaron for a fun conversation, a helpful hand, or a good laugh. It shouldn’t be hard to tell, he is happy to be part of our Bundalong crew and loves enhancing every individual experience through getting to know each guest—his way of continuing the Aloha tradition 🤙🏼

Preguntas y respuestas
