The first event of the year is the official gateway to the BeBlue Team. This event is the key recruitment moment for the 2027 season and is designed to identify the candidates who will join the BeBlue team, both as Skippers and Co-Skippers. The event will be structured into two distinct tracks, with shared access but dedicated evaluation criteria:
• Skipper Team
• Co-Skipper Team
In the classroom and on board sailing yachts between 40 and 50 feet, practical sessions and theoretical moments will alternate, with the aim of assessing not only nautical competence, but also organisational skills, crew management, an operational approach, and the attitude required to work effectively as part of a team.

PROGRAM View
BeSkipper: take control. Presentation and recruitment.
The event takes place over two days, during which the participants will be divided into groups and alternate between practical tests on board and theoretical tests in a classroom.
Overnight accommodation on board is included for the first 30 registered participants; beyond this number, nearby hotels will be indicated with special rates.
The following skills will be examined during the selection meeting:
- Boat control in restricted space conditions
- Motor boat control
- Sailing boat control and maneuvers
- Mooring and/or anchorage in different configurations
- Theoretical and face-to-face tests on nomenclature, foreign languages, knowledge of on-board procedures and systems
An internal communication service will be available to share travel expenses to reach the boarding base.
