A highly experienced and dedicated maritime professional with a Master Unlimited license and a proven track record of success in both yacht and commercial sectors. With his deep passion for the sea and commitment to excellence, having spent many years honing his skills and expertise, navigating vessels of varying sizes and complexities across the world's oceans, Cpt Theo looks forward to facilitating unforgettable experiences for his guests onboard and is dedicated to creating memories that will last a lifetime. Chief Engineer / Sotirios Stathogiannopoulos

Sotirios brings over a decade of hands-on maritime engineering experience to M/Y Ability, with a strong background across both commercial vessels and luxury yachts. He holds a Class A’ Engineer Diploma from the Institute of Higher Marine Training (K.E.S.E.N.) in Piraeus, along with a C’ Class Engineer Diploma from the Higher Public Academy of Engineering in Aspropyrgos. His certifications include advanced firefighting, medical first aid, survival craft and rescue boat proficiency, fast rescue boats, and ship security. Before joining M/Y Ability, Sotirios served as Chief Engineer aboard M/Y Alba and M/Y Elena V, and as Second and Third Engineer on various bulk carrier vessels. He also completed military service as a Petty Officer (Engineer) in the Greek Navy. Fluent in Greek and English Sotirios is known for his technical expertise, reliability, and commitment to the highest safety and operational standards on board.
Chef / 'Rene' Renato Honrada

Rene, born in the Philippines, brings years of experience since beginning his career in the luxury yacht charter industry in 2005. He is skilled in a wide range of cuisines, including Asian, Italian, Greek, Japanese, Mediterranean, Mexican, and pastry making. Rene's deep love for his profession is evident in his vibrant YouTube channel, where he shares his culinary adventures and travel experiences. His passion for cooking shines through in every dish he creates, and he eagerly anticipates welcoming new guests on board to delight them with his culinary expertise. Over the years, Rene has also earned recognition by winning various competitions at the EMMYs (Poros International Yacht Show).

Chief Stewardess / Yulia Demyanova

Chief Stewardess Yulia brings over a decade of experience in luxury yachting, with a strong background on yachts as M/Y Lady Lena (52m), M/Y Universe (74m), M/Y Dubai (162m), and M/Y Serene (134m). She is highly skilled in all aspects of guest service, including formal and informal dining, wine service, housekeeping, laundry, wardrobe management, and event planning. Yulia has led interior teams on both private and charter yachts, overseeing everything from busy charter seasons to new build setups and shipyard periods. Fluent in English, Russian, and Greek, she is known for her professionalism, discretion, and ability to create a warm, elegant onboard atmosphere that ensures an exceptional guest experience.

Katia is a motivated and reliable stewardess with hands-on experience aboard both private and commercial yachts ranging up to 50m. With a background in hospitality and passenger vessels, she has developed strong skills in guest service, housekeeping, and bar assistance. Her previous roles on yachts such as Hakuna Matata and Wind of Fortune have strengthened her adaptability and attention to detail in fast-paced environments. She holds multiple certifications, including STCW Basic Training, Passenger Ship Safety, and Ship Security Awareness, and is currently furthering her maritime studies in navigation. Katia is fluent in Greek and has a good command of English. In her free time, she enjoys swimming and fitness, bringing both energy and discipline to her work on board.
Bosun / Anton Kyriatskiy

Anton is a skilled and well-rounded Bosun with a solid maritime background that includes experience as a Relief Chief Officer and Bosun on both private and charter yachts up to 37 meters. Having also served in the merchant navy, he brings a comprehensive understanding of deck operations, mooring, anchoring, tender handling, and navigational support. His capabilities also extend to technical upkeep, carpentry, and overseeing shipyard procedures, contributing to the smooth running and upkeep of the vessel. He holds a wide range of industry certifications, including GMDSS, Advanced Firefighting, Survival Craft & Rescue Boats, Radar & ECDIS, and RYA Powerboat , and is currently completing his Yachtmaster Offshore. Anton is calm under pressure, methodical, and solution-oriented, with a collaborative spirit that supports strong crew dynamics. He speaks Ukrainian and Russian, with working proficiency in English and Greek.

He is a graduate of private Institute "Akmi" with a degree in Journalism and is proficient in English.

As the son of a Captain, Dimitris developed a deep respect for the sea and the values of professionalism, safety, and service from an early age. Passionate, hardworking, and eager to grow within the industry, he brings both youthful energy and a strong foundation of knowledge to the deck team. Dimitris is proud to continue the family tradition and is dedicated to delivering an exceptional experience for all guests onboard.
