NOT TO BE MISSED View- Close

The spectacular Helgeland coastline and the majestic Lofoten Islands are a true paradise for those who love exploring nature by sea. This stretch of Norwegian coastline, dotted with over a thousand islands, islets, and fjords, offers breathtaking scenery, perfect for exploring by sailboat. The mountains rising steeply from the sea, the secluded bays, and the crystal-clear waters create a landscape of rare beauty, shaped by wind and time. For those wishing to explore the hinterland, a trip to the Lomsdal-Visten National Park is a must-see, a pristine realm of forests, rivers, and valleys, where Arctic nature displays all its strength and delicacy. Don't miss Sandvika beach or the tranquility of Støtt, where time seems to have stood still. Moving north, the Lofoten Islands reveal their treasures: the beaches of Haukland and Uttakleiv, with their golden sands and turquoise waters, are ideal for those seeking silence and pure beauty. Adventure lovers can explore the deep, narrow fjords or hike the scenic ridges of Reinebringen. The more remote islands, such as Vega—a UNESCO World Heritage Site—captivate with their traditional culture and the presence of eider ducks, the famous downy ducks. Meanwhile, Røst and Værøy are perfect for those dreaming of a swim in the cold yet clear waters of the Norwegian Sea, surrounded by puffin colonies and dramatic cliffs. The journey ends in Skrova, a small jewel of Lofoten, where Kvalvika offers fiery sunsets and where you can still savor the authentic atmosphere of a Norwegian fishing village, amidst open-air art galleries and unspoiled nature.
