Captain Nim is a US Coast Guard certified captain and an experienced PADI Divemaster. He has sailed extensively throughout the Caribbean– the Bahamas, Virgin Islands, Turks and Caicos and several areas of the world’s other great waters- including the Mediterranean, Aegean, Adriatic, and the Andaman Sea, through the Suez Canal and across the Atlantic Ocean from Europe to the U.S.

Nim is a former information technology executive and Israeli Air Force combat veteran. He began sailing the Mediterranean at age 12, became certified in open water scuba diving while a teenager and divemaster not long afterward. Nim is an award-winning mixologist. He has endless stories and is naturally hospitable and welcoming. He is fluent in English and Hebrew and can nod and understand more Spanish than he will admit to.

Chef/First Mate Fabiola, award-winning chef at the Virgin Islands Yacht Show Culinary Competition, is an Island girl with a European heritage who literally grew up on sailboats. She has undergraduate and graduate degrees in business and worked for many years in Wealth Management before moving full time to life at sea.

Fabiola's love of food and creative cuisine began early, raised in a family of amazing cooks, she received as a gift her first cookbook at the age of eight and has had a fascination with delicious food ever since. She has successfully catered high-end parties and corporate events. She also has training in all aspects of food safety and hygiene.

Chef Fabiola enjoys combining healthy fresh local ingredients with international dishes learnt from a life well-traveled and experience of other cultures. Her delicious recipes have been featured in several magazines. Fabiola delights in tailoring the menu and creating special moments for each group of guests aboard. She is an expert at creating the perfect atmosphere for guests onboard Luna. Fabiola is fluent in English and Spanish and is a USCG Master Captain.

Location Details: Luna is now available for BVI charters as a home based yacht. No cross border charters.

Accommodation: Luna is a stunning, 2019 Lagoon 450S catamaran, custom-built to give up to six guests (and your two welcoming hosts) superb recreational areas and generous personal quarters, striking the perfect balance between privacy and shared space.



The three guest staterooms offer ample, queen-size berths with touches of convenience, from reading lights to USB outlets and individual climate controls. En-suite bathrooms for each cabin boast hardwood teak flooring, electric flush toilets, and separate shower compartments—not to mention impossibly soft and quick-drying Turkish bath towels.



This floating boutique hotel is exquisitely designed, from its tasteful decor to architectural elements like wood surfaces throughout the cabin. Clever and efficient stowage allows for plenty of personal effects, as well as on-board sporting equipment—such as snorkeling gear, stand-up paddleboards, and kayaks. The wide-windowed salon reveals unfettered views of the surrounding seas, and the cozy aft lounge and dining area provide plenty of seating and entertainment space. On deck, multiple spans on the cabintop and foredeck make for excellent sunbathing platforms and seagazing spots—all crowned by a generous and commanding sundeck laid out on the wide-open rooftop.

Here are some of the steps we take aboard Luna to ensure the continued beauty of our environment. 1. Solar Power Generation: Luna has 2,000 watts of solar panels installed. 2. Sustainable Water Systems: Luna's watermaker--powered by onboard solar panels--purifies and desalinates seawater on the fly for all of the boat's freshwater needs. 3. Water Bottles: Luna offers personalized, re-usable water bottles to each guest. 4. Single-use Plastics: We do not purchase small water bottles and we do not use disposable plastic plates or cups aboard Luna. 5. Eco-friendly Cleaning: Luna uses biodegradable and marine-friendly cleaning products and cleaning cloths for maintaining the boat's interior. 6. Eco-friendly Toiletries: Luna provides guests with locally made, 100% natural and ocean-friendly toiletries from BVI-based EC Soap Co. We buy in bulk and refill our bottles. 7. Supporting Local Business: Wherever possible, we procure produce and supplies from local farms and businesses in order to support the regional economy and reduce our overall carbon footprint.

Questions & Answers

How does the charter contract work?

The contract is signed directly between the Owner and the Charterer, with the support of the broker. It is usually based on the international MYBA contract model, designed to ensure clear and balanced protection for both parties.
There is also the figure of the Stakeholder, responsible for safely holding the funds until the end of the charter.

What is included in the charter fee?

The base rate includes the rental of the yacht, the use of all onboard equipment, the presence of the crew, and the related insurance coverage.
Operational expenses such as fuel, provisioning, marina fees, beverages, and additional activities are not included and are managed through the APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance).

The exact list of what is included or excluded will be confirmed when selecting the yacht.

What is the APA and how does it work?

The APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance) is an advance fund, usually equal to 25–35% of the charter fee, allocated to cover operational expenses such as fuel, provisioning, marina fees, paid activities, beverages, and the guests’ personalized requests.

At the end of the cruise, the Captain provides a detailed breakdown of all expenditures. Any unused amount is refunded to the client, while any overages are settled directly upon closing the charter.

What are the payment terms?

Upon signing the contract, a payment of 50% of the total amount is required.
The balance — including APA, taxes, and any additional charges — is typically due around five weeks before embarkation (depending on the owner).
Payments are made via bank transfer, which is the standard method in the luxury charter industry.

Can I cancel a booking?

Yes, cancellations are possible, but the contractual terms apply.
In general, if the client decides to withdraw, the Owner retains the deposits already paid.

If the yacht is rebooked for the same period, the Owner refunds the amount recovered, minus the applicable commissions.

Every cancellation request is handled with full transparency.

How can I choose the yacht that best suits my needs?

The choice depends primarily on the type of experience you wish to enjoy:

  • Motor yacht for maximum comfort, excellent stability, and fast transfers.

  • Sailing yacht for an authentic, quiet experience rooted in traditional navigation.

  • Catamaran for generous spaces, superior stability, and enhanced privacy.

How far in advance should I book?

For peak season (Mediterranean: June–September; Caribbean: December–April), it is advisable to book several months in advance to secure the best available options.
We can also handle last-minute requests, depending on availability and licensing requirements.

Is it possible to personalise menus, preferences, and activities?

Absolutely. Before departure, you will receive a Preference Sheet where you can indicate your tastes, dietary needs, allergies, beverage preferences, and the activities you wish to enjoy.
The Chef and the Captain will use this information to create a fully customised experience for you.

How many guests can be accommodated on board?

Most yachts can host 6 to 12 guests, depending on their interior layout.
Some superyachts over 80 metres, compliant with international certifications, can accommodate up to 36 guests.

Will I have Internet access during the charter?

Most yachts offer Wi-Fi on board, provided through mobile networks or satellite systems. The quality and speed of the connection may vary depending on the cruising area and the technology installed.

Is tipping the crew expected?

Tipping is not mandatory, but it is a well-established custom to show appreciation for the crew’s service.
International guidelines suggest an amount equal to 10–15% of the base charter fee as a reference.
