For those wishing to explore the main island, Desroches, further, we recommend hiking along the trails that wind through the tropical vegetation, discovering the island's endemic fauna and wild scents. Here, you can relax on deserted beaches like Batelier Bay or lose yourself in the tranquility of Bombay Beach, where time passes to the rhythm of the waves. To the south, Poivre Atoll reveals the remote charm of its crystalline waters, perfect for snorkeling and kayaking among colorful fish and coral gardens. Don't miss a visit to Alphonse Atoll, where the beaches seem hand-painted and diving reveals an extraordinary underwater world, including manta rays, turtles, and sunken shipwrecks.
