TRAVEL NOTE

What temperature should we expect? The Lofoten are heated by the Gulf Stream which brings the temperature from 15 to 25 degrees in the month of June. However, the boats are all heated and equipped for navigation in the Arctic waters.
How much does life on earth cost? Norway has a cost of living higher than Italy, the restaurants we meet have a price range of 60-100 € per person, a beer costs 8-15 € and a bag of shrimp costs 7-10 €. The boats are equipped for cooking on board and most meals (breakfasts, lunches and dinners) can be consumed on board.
Do you need special equipment? No, you will find the navigation equipment on board. We recommend comfortable and warm clothing for any windy days and for the more sporty a pair of hiking shoes. Finally, we specify that navigation in the fjords will be carried out mainly by motor.

Day 1: Check-in

After check-in a short evening sail to Syddalspollen or Laukvik-islands, north of Henningsvær, to immerse yourself immediately in the magical Lofoten anchorages. During the evening you will experience an unforgettable auditory adventure in collaboration with Henningsvær's OceanSound, a welcome surprise ...

Day 2

If we're lucky, with a calm sea, we can listen to dolphins, orcas and whales, which with a little luck will peek out on the surface of the water. After lunch on board we will sail north to Hinnøya and Lonkan-fjord. Lonkan-fjord is the best starting point for trekking towards the Møysalen National Park, which we will explore the next day.

Day 3

In the morning we will prepare lunch in the middle of the national park in what is probably Norway's most beautiful trekking route. Møysalen at 1262 meters above sea level is the highest mountain in the Lofoten Islands. In the afternoon we will return to the boats for a short sail to Vesterålen and Andøya. Then dinner on board in one of the typical restaurants of the village.

Day 4

In the morning, we'll head north, along the west side of Andøya, where the mountains rise before the fascinating beaches. In Bleik it is possible to go surfing, kayaking and hiking in the age-old hunting ground of our ancestors in the Stone Age. Bleik also offers a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere within its villages, where you should definitely not miss a hot drink at Café Jakobine, the most charming bar in Vesterålen!

Day 5

After breakfast we will continue north, along the route we will pass the island of Bleik (which is also a natural reserve); important reproduction area of the puffin. From Andenes we will have a guide of the Andenes Sea-Safari on board and off to the north where the seabed rises steeply from 2000 to 100 and where the whales meet and feed each other. In the afternoon we will continue the journey towards Senja, for a stop in the comfortable port of Hamn that will host us for the night.

Day 6

In the morning it will be possible to go kayaking and surfing in the natural indoor pool of Hamn, characterized by very mild and pleasant temperatures. In the early afternoon, sail to Bergsjorden to visit the magical Kråkeslottet castle where the owner and friend Georg will take us on a fascinating visit.

Day 7

After breakfast we depart for the last sail to Tromsø, the Paris of the North. In the evening, after a lavish dinner on board or ashore (at the discretion of the guests) there will be time for a drink and a walk through the streets of the center ...

Day 8: Check-out

Check-out is scheduled in the morning by 09:00.

The itinerary might be subject to variations due to weather conditions, safety and technical evaluations of the Captain. This program is intended as indicative and non-binding.
