A Swiss Dental Corporate Team Sets Sail on the Catamaran.
From May 23 to 25, 2024, a company chose the stunning setting of the Gulf of La Spezia for an exclusive incentive event, bringing a team of 16 participants aboard luxurious sailing catamarans.
Based at Porto Mirabello, La Spezia, the initiative offered a perfect mix of experiential training, sea adventure, and pure relaxation, designed to strengthen bonds and stimulate collaboration.
The program kicked off on Thursday, May 23, with boarding and a safety briefing, followed by a sail to Palmaria Island for lunch. The afternoon was dedicated to practical sailing activities, allowing participants to familiarize themselves with the catamaran, define onboard roles, and execute maneuvers, including close passages between boats. The day concluded with yoga sessions and an aperitif, followed by dinner and an overnight stay on board at anchor.
On Friday, May 24, after yoga and breakfast on board, the team set sail again for an "educational" focused on maneuvers and roles, culminating in a fun "regatta-game," adapted to weather conditions and participant feedback. After a lunch stop at anchor, the afternoon offered time for leisurely sailing or learning the basics of sailing from the skippers/instructors. The evening concluded with mooring at Portovenere for an aperitif and dinner at La Marina Restaurant.
Saturday, May 25, offered a morning walk in Portovenere and breakfast, before a final outing for another "regatta-game" session. Another lunch at anchor and free time to enjoy sailing and the most beautiful views of the Gulf preceded the return and disembarkation at Porto Mirabello in the late afternoon.
