HIGHLIGHTS View- Close

The coast of Belize offers the opportunity to discover unique places that can only be admired from a boat. The Great Blue Hole is undoubtedly the most extraordinary gem of all, a large underwater cavern about 300 meters wide and 124 meters deep, located east of the Belize coast and recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. It formed as a limestone cave during the last Ice Age when sea levels were much lower; as the sea level rose, the cave flooded until its roof collapsed, creating a true sinkhole in the middle of the sea. Treat yourself to a dive into this vast blue abyss, admiring its fascinating vertical walls and swimming among stalactites up to 12 meters long. Don’t miss the chance to visit this stunning natural reserve that will simply take your breath away. However, the islets should not be underestimated. Coco Plum Cay, with its peaceful white sandy beaches and calm waters ideal for a relaxing swim or picnic; Lagoon Cay, nestled among mangroves and shallow waters perfect for birdwatching and observing marine life in a natural and peaceful setting; and and Whipray Cay, a small, rustic paradise appreciated for its tranquility and pristine waters, all offer pleasant stops and moments of relaxation in the tranquil Belizean Caribbean environment.
