HIGHLIGHTS View
The coast of Belize offers the opportunity to discover unique places that can only be admired from the boat. The Great Blue Hole is undoubtedly the most extraordinary jewel of all, a large underwater cave about 300 meters wide and 124 meters deep, located east of the Belize coast and recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. It was formed as a limestone cave during the last Ice Age when the sea level was still extremely low, once it began to rise, the cave submerged until its roof collapsed, creating a true well in the middle of the sea. Treat yourself to a dive into this great blue chasm, admiring its fascinating vertical walls and swimming among stalactites up to 12 meters long. Don't miss the opportunity to visit this natural reserve of extreme beauty that will leave you simply breathless. However, the islets should not be underestimated. Coco Plum Cay, with its tranquil white sandy beaches and calm waters ideal for a swim or a relaxing picnic; Lagoon Cay, immersed among mangroves and shallow waters perfect for observing birds and marine life in a natural and peaceful environment; and Whipray Cay, a small rustic paradise appreciated for its tranquility and crystal-clear waters, offer pleasant stops and moments of relaxation in the tranquil context of the Caribbean Belize.
