It depends on the type of boat and the option chosen.
For a charter with a skipper, no boating license is required. In the case of a charter without a skipper (bareboat), you must meet the requirements of the regulations of the country where you are sailing and present an adequate nautical CV.
For more information on boating licenses and current regulations, consult the dedicated page:

Yes. You can choose to charter with a professional skipper or, if you have experience and a boating license, charter without a skipper (bareboat). The BeBlue team is available to help you choose the solution best suited to your needs and the type of vacation you desire.
Can I charter a boat to join a flotilla?
Yes. It is possible to participate in a BeBlue flotilla by chartering a boat with a skipper, even without a boating license or sailing experience.
