A relaxing gulet cruise between Turkey and Greece: set sail to discover the Dodecanese archipelago with its beautiful crystal clear waters from Bodrum, Turkey. During the various stages you will visit Kos island very popular destination for its nightlife, Nisyros island and its volcano, Rhodes island rich in history and culture,  the city of Datca famous for its fantastic climate.. just to name a few! Sail for this gulet cruise that following two different routes, depending on the week, will take you to the islands to the north and south of this fantastic corner of Greece!

HOW TO GET THERE

The airport of reference is Milas-Bodrum (iata code BJV) easily reachable from all the main Italian airports with a stopover in Istanbul if you are traveling with Turkish Airlines.

It is also possible to use the airport transfer service or book a taxi (about € 30) or private minibus (about € 50) for the journey from the airport to the embarkation port (trip takes about 30 minutes).

SOUTH ROUTE Day 1: Check-in

Check-in starts at 15:30 from the port of Bodrum. On the first day our boat will remain anchored at the port of the historic city of Bodrum for dinner and overnight stay and to allow you to visit the city.

Day 2

After breakfast we will head to the island of Kos. Ascleption which is the native land of Hippocrates, kwon as the founding father of the medical sciences. People who had health problems were taken to Kos to be treated. Kos is one of the largest islands in the Dodecanese, has a mild climate and fertile lands and numerous attractions such as a tree over 500 years old, a 200 years fountain and 200 km long beach.  Here you can enjoy the crystal clear water of Lambi beach  and the nightlife of the center, especially in the main street Nafklirou full of restaurants, and typical bars.

Day 3

During the third day of our tour we will sail to the island  Nisyros and we will stop for a morning swim. The island's volcano is still active and burst in 1422. Next to the volcano there is the characteristic village of Nikea consisting of white roads and a square covered with suggestive mosaics. It is possible to visit the volcano crater, smoke emissions and sulfur springs along the coast. In the afternoon we will dock at the port of Symi where you can visit the coastline, pine forests and  bays.

Day 4

Early in the morning we will sail to Rhodes, the largest island in the Dodecanese. The island is a very popular tourist destination thanks to the warm climate all year round and its fantastic medieval city. Rhodes has been the cradle of many civilizations: starting from the  knights of San Giovanni in the middle ages, then the Ottomans and Italians, for this reason it preserves a unique cultural heritage. The tour in the old city is optional. The most touristic areas of Rhodes island are Lindos and Kamiros. Anyone who wants can take part of the city tour. The city of Lindos gives the feeling of going back in time with its narrow streets paved with stone. After dinner we reccomend enjoying the liveliness of Rhodes.

Day 5

We will return to Turkey through Datca, a historic city founded by the Dorians who arrived in the Aegean Sea in the 7th century B.C. The island is characterized by the absence of humidity and by a cool climate abudant with oxygen. According with Strabon God would have sent his servants to Datca to live longer. The myth narrates that many sick people who landed in the bay, took their own thanks to the clean climate. A unique opportunity to walk in the harbor and be enveloped by the clean air of this city. Later we will stop at the Kargi bay for the nights under the stars...

Day 6

After breakfast we will sail to towards Inceburum  and then proceed to Palamutbuku for lunch. For dinner we will sail to Cnidus, a city rich in art, science and architecture. Cnidus is the home of many well-known personalities such as Eudoxos astronomer and professor of mathematics; Polyngotos a very popular painter; Skopas and Bryasksis famous sculptors. Dr Euryphon and his students founded the largest school of medical sciences in Cnidus. The island is the home of the largest sun clock of its time which was erected by Eudoksos. Cnidus hosted the monument of Aphrodite bacame very popular among sailors and arab merchants, walking on the shore you can see the ancient ruins.

Day 7

Today we set sail early in the mornin, heading towards karaada called the Black Island. Breakfast will be served in Poyraz Bay where you will immerse yourself in the fantastic turquoise waters. We will dock in the port of Bodrum for dinner and overnight stay.

Check-out is scheduled in the morning by 09:00.

NORTH ROUTE Day 1: Check-in

Day 2

Day 3

We will start sailing early in the morninig to Pserimos Island  for breakfast and a nice swim. Then we will head towards the wonderful island of Leros  with high cliffs, bays and small villages. After lunch we will dock at the port of Lakki or at the port of Agia Marina. We reccomend visiting the characteristic town of Platanos on the Leros Islans connected by narrow street, flower garden and steep stairways.  We can visit the Castle of Leros climbing the 300 steps from Platanos and enjoy the magnificent panorama! You can also go around the island by renting a bicycle.

Day 4

Early in the morning we will sail to Patmos Island and we will dive into its beautiful waters. Patmos is a small island, right here St. John completes the last part of "The Apocalypse of John" for this reson the island is called "The Jerusalem of the Aegean". According to mythology Patmos wa a gift from Zeus to his daughterArtemis, the goddness of hunting. The Monastery of St. John was bulit in the temple dedicated to Aphrodite. It will be possible to do an optional tour in these places. The yacht will remain in the port for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5

We continue the cruise  to the Lipsi island among its beautiful sandy beaches with crystal clear waters such as Platis and Giolos. The capital is located in the small natural port of the island characterized by its white houses , taverns, cafes and typical restaurants. Also worth visiting the Church of Panopanaghia (15th century) and the Church of the Catopanaghia (7th century).

Day 6

Today we will stop in the beautiful bay around the Kalimnos Island. We will dock at the port of Pothia, the capital. The island is surrounded by beautiful beaches like Vlyhadia, Mirties, Massouri...

Day 7

We will enter back in Turkey and after customs checks, you can swim with the fish in the beautiful waters of Akvaryum. We will stay in Bodrum  for dinner and the last night.

Check-out is scheduled in the morning by 09:00.
