FAQ View
I HAVE NO EXPERIENCE, IS THIS HOLIDAY SUITABLE FOR ME?
Sailing cruises are suitable for everyone. The important thing is to have a spirit of adventure, good adaptability and enjoy being with others. The boat used for this cruise is very comfortable and allows even those who are new to sailing to enjoy the sea from a different perspective.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO LEARN?
One of our goals is to share the art of sailing, and the skipper is always available to give you all the information you need about the boat and sailing. By helping with the manoeuvres on board, you will learn and have fun.
WHAT EXTRA COSTS WILL I HAVE TO PAY AND HOW WILL THEY BE MANAGED?
Extra expenses for food, cooking, gas and final cleaning amount to £290 per person, to be paid on site at check-in. Food includes all meals on board except for three dinners (Saturday boarding, Tuesday in Bonifacio and Friday before disembarking).
Expenses for alcoholic beverages, fuel, ports and buoys (including mooring fees for the first and last nights) will be managed through a common fund directly on board. Please note that the skipper is exempt from these expenses and therefore does not contribute to the common fund.
CAN I BRING MY CHILDREN?
Children are welcome on board. However, if there are other guests on board at that time, you will need to ask the other participants if they agree. Alternatively, you can create a group with other children; we often receive requests for this. Another option is to book the entire boat. If you send us an email requesting to participate in a family cruise with children or a cruise for children only, it will be easier for us to create a group.
WILL I GET SEASICK?
The first night we will sleep in the harbour to get used to the slight movement of the boat. For more sensitive people, we do not recommend tea and coffee for breakfast, but rather dry foods. Summer cruises feature short stretches of sailing in calm sea areas with stops in sheltered bays with small waves, but if necessary, pharmaceutical products suitable for the treatment of seasickness are available for purchase.
HOW SHOULD I PACK MY SUITCASE?
There is not enough space on board for hard suitcases, so you will have to store them in your cabin, reducing the space available to you; for this reason, we always recommend travelling with soft luggage.
Given the duration of the cruise, we recommend T-shirts, shorts and underwear, a sweatshirt, swimwear, comfortable shoes for walking on deck (below deck you walk barefoot) and slippers or sandals. The following are not necessary: hairdryers, multiple pairs of shoes, evening wear, beach games, long trousers.

WHAT IS A TYPICAL DAY ON BOARD LIKE?
Normally, you wake up in the morning in a beautiful bay, swim if you wish, enjoy a hearty breakfast, rig the boat and set sail for a new island and a quiet anchorage where you can stop for lunch and, if you like, laze around all day. The sailing time is never more than two hours.
WHERE DO WE SLEEP AT NIGHT?
We will spend the day of embarkation in the harbour to get to know each other and stock up on provisions, and on the last day of the cruise we will return to the port of departure at around 5 p.m. The other nights we always sleep in beautiful bays sheltered from the wind and sea, breaking up the week with a stop in one of the many characteristic marinas for a bit of social life and to replenish the boat with water and other supplies.
HOW CAN I CHARGE MY MOBILE PHONE AND OTHER DEVICES?
On board, you will find both 12 V, sufficient for charging mobile phones and digital cameras (with a socket similar to the one used in cars), and 220 V.
