Koh Chang, in Thailand, is a true gem for those traveling on a sailing cruise, and there are some must-see attractions that truly deserve to be visited. Covered by lush jungle, with postcard bays and fiery sunsets. First of all, the beaches are a must: White Sand Beach is the most famous and offers a perfect mix of white sand and crystal-clear waters, perfect for anchoring and snorkeling. Also, Lonely Beach, a bit quieter and less touristy, is great for a relaxed and authentic atmosphere. You can't miss the Klong Plu Waterfalls, one of the island's most beautiful natural attractions, ideal for a refreshing swim after a day of sailing. If you like nature, the Mu Ko Chang National Park is a protected area with tropical forests and trails leading to breathtaking viewpoints, perfect for those who want to explore the island on foot. For those who love local culture, the fishing village of Bang Bao is a gem made of stilt houses, fresh fish markets, and some typical restaurants, all immersed in a truly authentic atmosphere. It is also worth visiting some of the smaller islands around, such as Koh Wai and Koh Mak, where the sea is clear and the seabed is rich in corals, ideal for diving and snorkeling.

It depends on the type of boat and the option chosen.
For a charter with a skipper, no boating license is required. In the case of a charter without a skipper (bareboat), you must meet the requirements of the regulations of the country where you are sailing and present an adequate nautical CV.
For more information on boating licenses and current regulations, consult the dedicated page:
