HIGHLIGHTS View
Koh Chang, in Thailand, is a true gem for those traveling on a sailing cruise, with some unmissable attractions that are definitely worth visiting. Covered by lush jungle, with postcard-perfect bays and fiery sunsets. First of all, the beaches are a must: White Sand Beach is the most famous and offers a perfect mix of white sand and crystal-clear waters, ideal for anchoring and snorkeling. Lonely Beach, a bit quieter and less touristy, is great for a relaxed and authentic atmosphere. You can’t miss the Klong Plu Waterfalls, one of the island’s most beautiful natural attractions, perfect for a refreshing swim after a day of sailing. If you love nature, Mu Ko Chang National Park is a protected area with tropical forests and trails leading to breathtaking viewpoints, perfect for those who want to explore the island on foot. For those who appreciate local culture, the fishing village of Bang Bao is a gem made up of stilt houses, fresh fish markets, and a few typical restaurants, all immersed in a truly authentic atmosphere. It’s also worth visiting some of the smaller nearby islands, such as Koh Wai and Koh Mak, where the sea is clear and the seabeds are rich in coral, ideal for diving and snorkeling.
