🚗 Reaching Piombino by car
Piombino is the main departure port for the Island of Elba and is easily accessible by car from all over Italy.

- Florence – Piombino: 160 km (2h)
- Rome – Piombino: 230 km (2h30)
- Milan – Piombino: 380 km (4h30)
- Bologna – Piombino: 230 km (3h)
Recommended routes:
- From the north (Milan/Bologna/Florence): A1 → Florence Scandicci → SGC Fi-Pi-Li → SS1 Aurelia → Piombino
- From the south (Rome/Naples): A12 → SS1 Aurelia → Venturina → Piombino
