Edwin Mujanovic- Captain

Captain Edin Mujanovic was born in Heidelberg, Germany, and raised in Washington State after moving to the U.S. in 2000. With Croatian and Bosnian heritage, Edin grew up with a love for the outdoors—spending his time hiking, biking, snowboarding, and fishing. He now resides in Savannah, Georgia, where he enjoys exploring the natural beauty of the surrounding coastal area.

Edin discovered his passion for yachting in 2013 and knew it was the career path he wanted to pursue. After graduating high school in 2014, he took his family’s advice and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Gonzaga University in 2017, all while gaining hands-on experience in the yachting world.

He has since built an impressive career working aboard yachts throughout the Mediterranean, including in Spain (Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca, Ibiza), France (St. Tropez, Antibes, Nice, Corsica), Monaco, Italy (Portofino, Amalfi, Capri, Venice), and Croatia. Over the past five years, he has focused on chartering in the Bahamas—cruising through the Exumas, Eleuthera, and Abaco—offering guests unforgettable adventures.

Captain Edin is dedicated to providing guests with exceptional service and unforgettable experiences both on and off the water. Whether it's navigating hidden coves in the Caribbean, tendering through remote Bahamian islands, or cruising the coast of Alaska, he brings a deep knowledge of each destination and a passion for hospitality. Known for running a tight-knit and professional crew, Edin ensures that every charter is safe, seamless, and truly elevated.

William Loy - Mate

Growing up in a Navy family, William was raised abroad and surrounded by the sea, which naturally inspired his passion for maritime life. With years of hands-on experience cruising through Alaska, Florida, and the Caribbean, William brings a strong foundation in seamanship, a calm and professional demeanor, and a genuine love for life on the water.

Guests appreciate William’s attention to detail, helpful attitude, and deep local knowledge—whether he’s spotting wildlife, guiding tender excursions, or managing deck operations. His adaptability and steady presence make him a valuable asset on board, ensuring that every voyage runs smoothly and safely.

Dedicated to delivering exceptional service and unforgettable experiences, William plays a key role in creating memorable journeys through some of the world’s most spectacular cruising grounds.

Jordyn Saindon - Stewardess

Originally from Boulder, Colorado, Jordyn Saindon brings a warm, adventurous spirit and a strong work ethic to every charter. She graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2019 with a Bachelor’s degree in History and a minor in Classics. Following graduation, she moved to Hawaii in search of new experiences and spent a year living on the beautiful beaches of Oahu—a time that sparked her passion for travel and life at sea.

That passion led her to the world of yachting, where she has now spent the past three years working aboard several luxury yachts ranging from 45 to 60 meters. During this time, Jordyn has honed her skills in housekeeping, laundry, and guest service, always striving to create a welcoming and relaxing environment onboard.

Her attention to detail, friendly personality, and commitment to excellence make Jordyn an integral part of the crew, ensuring guests enjoy a truly memorable and seamless experience from start to finish.

Stephanie Johnson - Chef

Raised among the forests of Oregon and having spent the past two decades sailing through the Caribbean, Chef Stephanie Johnson blends her deep love of nature, the sea, and cuisine into every charter experience. With a degree in Marine Biology and an adventurous spirit, Stephanie found her calling in yachting—where marine life, travel, and hospitality converge.

For 15 years, Stephanie and her late husband owned and operated a 72-foot charter yacht in the Caribbean, hosting guests and diving extensively during the off-season. Serving as both chef and dive master, she gained hands-on expertise across all aspects of life at sea—from culinary excellence and guest service to navigation and safety.

Stephanie holds a 100-ton USCG Captain’s License and is known for her calm demeanor, strong work ethic, and natural ability to make guests feel at home. She’s passionate about delivering smooth, memorable charters and is always ready to jump in wherever needed—especially when it comes to sharing her knowledge of marine life, her favorite topic.

Questions & Answers

How does the charter contract work?

The contract is signed directly between the Owner and the Charterer, with the support of the broker. It is usually based on the international MYBA contract model, designed to ensure clear and balanced protection for both parties.
There is also the figure of the Stakeholder, responsible for safely holding the funds until the end of the charter.

What is included in the charter fee?

The base rate includes the rental of the yacht, the use of all onboard equipment, the presence of the crew, and the related insurance coverage.
Operational expenses such as fuel, provisioning, marina fees, beverages, and additional activities are not included and are managed through the APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance).

The exact list of what is included or excluded will be confirmed when selecting the yacht.

What is the APA and how does it work?

The APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance) is an advance fund, usually equal to 25–35% of the charter fee, allocated to cover operational expenses such as fuel, provisioning, marina fees, paid activities, beverages, and the guests’ personalized requests.

At the end of the cruise, the Captain provides a detailed breakdown of all expenditures. Any unused amount is refunded to the client, while any overages are settled directly upon closing the charter.

What are the payment terms?

Upon signing the contract, a payment of 50% of the total amount is required.
The balance — including APA, taxes, and any additional charges — is typically due around five weeks before embarkation (depending on the owner).
Payments are made via bank transfer, which is the standard method in the luxury charter industry.

Can I cancel a booking?

Yes, cancellations are possible, but the contractual terms apply.
In general, if the client decides to withdraw, the Owner retains the deposits already paid.

If the yacht is rebooked for the same period, the Owner refunds the amount recovered, minus the applicable commissions.

Every cancellation request is handled with full transparency.
Further details on the applicable policies are available upon direct request.

How can I choose the yacht that best suits my needs?

The choice depends primarily on the type of experience you wish to enjoy:

  • Motor yacht for maximum comfort, excellent stability, and fast transfers.

  • Sailing yacht for an authentic, quiet experience rooted in traditional navigation.

  • Catamaran for generous spaces, superior stability, and enhanced privacy.

BeBlue evaluates the destination, number of guests, personal preferences, and budget to select the most suitable option for you.

How far in advance should I book?

For peak season (Mediterranean: June–September; Caribbean: December–April), it is advisable to book several months in advance to secure the best available options.
We can also handle last-minute requests, depending on availability and licensing requirements.

Is it possible to personalise menus, preferences, and activities?

Absolutely. Before departure, you will receive a Preference Sheet where you can indicate your tastes, dietary needs, allergies, beverage preferences, and the activities you wish to enjoy.
The Chef and the Captain will use this information to create a fully customised experience for you.

How many guests can be accommodated on board?

Most yachts can host 6 to 12 guests, depending on their interior layout.
Some superyachts over 80 metres, compliant with international certifications, can accommodate up to 36 guests.

Will I have Internet access during the charter?

Most yachts offer Wi-Fi on board, provided through mobile networks or satellite systems. The quality and speed of the connection may vary depending on the cruising area and the technology installed.

Is tipping the crew expected?

Tipping is not mandatory, but it is a well-established custom to show appreciation for the crew’s service.
International guidelines suggest an amount equal to 10–15% of the base charter fee as a reference.
