CAPTAIN – Stefanos Marinos
Stefanos was born in 1981 and he is a Greek national. He holds a Captain’s diploma and all the necessary certificates for his position. He started his career on commercial and passenger ships and after gaining valuable experience he entered the yachting industry in 2017. Before joining M/Y George P in 2024, he served onboard various charter yachts such as M/Y Sea Wolf etc. His charming and friendly personality together with his excellent communication skills makes him an ideal captain on charter yachts. Stefanos has an over 12 years’ experience and he loves exploring new areas, secluded beaches and creates tailor made cruises. He is a dedicated professional ensuring that all guests onboard George P will have a top-level charter. Stefanos speaks English and at his free time he loves doing sports, travelling and spending time with his family.


ENGINEER – Alexandros Kalaintzis
Alexandros is a dedicated and technically proficient with over 15 years of experience in maintaining and repairing mechanical and electrical systems. He is skilled in troubleshooting, preventative maintenance and system upgrades, ensuring smooth vessel operation. He started his career on board tanker ships and entered yachting in 2023. Alexandros is committed to safety, efficiency and adherence to maritime regulations. Strong communicator with a focus on high-quality service and teamwork. Alexandros speaks English and enjoys diving, cycling and fishing.


CHEF – Yiannis Mitsakis
Yiannis was born in 1990 and raised in Greece. He is a graduate of culinary arts of the Hellenic Tourism Organization cooking school in Macedonia, Greece and holds a Charcutier degree and a degree in New Gastronomy Techniques. After gaining his diploma, he has continued growing his knowledge and skills in Gastronomy by attending numerous seminars such as Molecular Gastronomy, Fusion Asian-Japanese-Greek Cuisine, High End Santorinian Cuisine, and Hospitality BA. He started his career in 2009 working in Luxury 5 Star hotels and restaurants; Rhodes Palace, Les Lazaristes Hotel and Mediterranean Palace Hotel among others. Yannis won the 5th place at the Chef’s competition in Monaco Yacht Classic week 2017 and he was awarded with 2 bronze medals in two categories at 11th International Culinary Competition of Southern Europe 2019. He joined M/Y George P in 2025 and before that he was onboard M/Y Zoi for 3 years. He is passionate with cooking and modern Mediterranean cuisine with a great knowledge on seafood and his delicious and nourishing recipes will make your trip unforgettable. Yiannis speaks English.


STEWARDESS - Dimitra Papadopoulou
Dimitra is a Greek national, born in 1985 and holds a diploma in PC Networks & Applications. She has attended many seminars and holds a certificate in Silver service, wine and cocktails. She has worked in the hospitality industry for many years at various restaurants gaining valuable experience. Dimitra is very well organized with excellent communication skills. Before joining George P she worked onboard M/Y Aelia, M/Y Divine, M/Y Galux-One, M/Y Aquila, M/Y Princess L and M/Y Grace. She makes sure that the guests will be pampered to the highest standards of service and that everyone has an enjoyable and comfortable time. With her pleasant personality and her creativity is an asset to the crew. She loves practicing Judo and she has achieved many distinctions such as a silver medal at the Panhellenic Junior Championship (2000) and two bronze medals (2000&2001). Dimitra speaks English and she loves playing guitar, composing music and lyrics and designing jewels.


2nd STEWARDESS: Kseniya Lazarenko
Kseniya was born in Nafplion and she is a Greek – Ukrainian national. She has extensive experience in hospitality having previously worked on various yachts and restaurants in Athens, Mykonos and Nafplion. She is a highly motivated and enthusiastic person with great social skills. She holds all the necessary certificates of a seafarer. She has attended many seminars in hospitality sector such as Food Hygiene & Safety, Beefeater Gin College training, Jameson Irish Whiskey training and she has a WSET level 1 award in Wines. Before joining M/Y George P, she served onboard M/Y Aquila, M/Y Princess L and M/Y Grace. Kseniya is a responsible person and always ready to help her team mates with a big smile. She is doing an amazing job keeping the interior of the yacht in top condition and offering high quality services to all guests. When not working, she enjoys cooking, yoga and travelling. She speaks English, Greek ad Russian.


Bosun –Christos Stylianou
Christos was born in 1982. He began his career at sea aboard commercial ships, where he developed a deep understanding of maritime operations. Over the years, his passion for the ocean and exceptional work ethic led him to transition into yachting industry. He holds all the certificates for his position as well as a speed boat license. He is a dedicated and hardworking person always there for his team. He has great communication skills and he focuses on guests’ needs. Christos speaks English and enjoys fishing and swimming.


Deckhand – Spiros Kotoris
Spiros is an experienced seaman with a strong passion for the sea. He began his professional journey as a skipper in the Greek Islands, where he earned outstanding feedback for his exceptional navigational skills, leadership, and ability to create unforgettable experiences for guests. Before joining M/Y George P, he was onboard M/Y Asteri. Spiros offers unwavering support to both the crew and guests. He speaks English and enjoys sailing and water sports.

How does the charter contract work?

The contract is signed directly between the Owner and the Charterer, with the support of the broker. It is usually based on the international MYBA contract model, designed to ensure clear and balanced protection for both parties.
There is also the figure of the Stakeholder, responsible for safely holding the funds until the end of the charter.

What is included in the charter fee?

The base rate includes the rental of the yacht, the use of all onboard equipment, the presence of the crew, and the related insurance coverage.
Operational expenses such as fuel, provisioning, marina fees, beverages, and additional activities are not included and are managed through the APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance).

The exact list of what is included or excluded will be confirmed when selecting the yacht.

What is the APA and how does it work?

The APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance) is an advance fund, usually equal to 25–35% of the charter fee, allocated to cover operational expenses such as fuel, provisioning, marina fees, paid activities, beverages, and the guests’ personalized requests.

At the end of the cruise, the Captain provides a detailed breakdown of all expenditures. Any unused amount is refunded to the client, while any overages are settled directly upon closing the charter.

What are the payment terms?

Upon signing the contract, a payment of 50% of the total amount is required.
The balance — including APA, taxes, and any additional charges — is typically due around five weeks before embarkation (depending on the owner).
Payments are made via bank transfer, which is the standard method in the luxury charter industry.

Can I cancel a booking?

Yes, cancellations are possible, but the contractual terms apply.
In general, if the client decides to withdraw, the Owner retains the deposits already paid.

If the yacht is rebooked for the same period, the Owner refunds the amount recovered, minus the applicable commissions.

Every cancellation request is handled with full transparency.

How can I choose the yacht that best suits my needs?

The choice depends primarily on the type of experience you wish to enjoy:

  • Motor yacht for maximum comfort, excellent stability, and fast transfers.

  • Sailing yacht for an authentic, quiet experience rooted in traditional navigation.

  • Catamaran for generous spaces, superior stability, and enhanced privacy.

How far in advance should I book?

For peak season (Mediterranean: June–September; Caribbean: December–April), it is advisable to book several months in advance to secure the best available options.
We can also handle last-minute requests, depending on availability and licensing requirements.

Is it possible to personalise menus, preferences, and activities?

Absolutely. Before departure, you will receive a Preference Sheet where you can indicate your tastes, dietary needs, allergies, beverage preferences, and the activities you wish to enjoy.
The Chef and the Captain will use this information to create a fully customised experience for you.

How many guests can be accommodated on board?

Most yachts can host 6 to 12 guests, depending on their interior layout.
Some superyachts over 80 metres, compliant with international certifications, can accommodate up to 36 guests.

Will I have Internet access during the charter?

Most yachts offer Wi-Fi on board, provided through mobile networks or satellite systems. The quality and speed of the connection may vary depending on the cruising area and the technology installed.

Is tipping the crew expected?

Tipping is not mandatory, but it is a well-established custom to show appreciation for the crew’s service.
International guidelines suggest an amount equal to 10–15% of the base charter fee as a reference.
