Charters usually have a weekly rotation, boarding at 4pm, disembarkation at 10am but there is some flexibility according to the booking plan and charter duration.
APA for extra costs as ports, soft drinks, spirits, transfers, gasoline for watersports etc 15%.

CHEF – Unal KARA
Unal has been working as a chef since 2000 and had worked aboar S/Y Amazon Solo for three years and five S/Y Kaya Guneri before joining Nevra Queen.
He spent a number of winters in Europe, he can offer a special selection of mouthwatering dishes from French, Italian, Turkish and Chinese cuisine.
Unal is also a very definitely a sailing enthusiast. He speks English, he likes talking with other guests about the secrets about preparing traditional Turkish dishes.

ENGINEER – Can SASMAZ
He is a technical college graduate. He has been working as an engineer on yachts and merchant navy for 12 years.
He started his career as an oiler on a of the top class tanker then became an engineer, a position he kept for ten years. He moved to the shipping company owner’s private motor yacht. He joined Nevra Queen in 2019.

CHIEF OFFICER – Yasin KORKMAZ
Yasin is a keen yachtsman and started working aboard the catamaran Skye as his first boat (2007), before joining of the team of S/Y Grande Mare in 2008. In 2013 he joined the crew of S/Y Bella Mare as chief officer until 2019, when he joined Nevra Queen
He studied English in London and graduated from Tourism High School and Tourism University in Turkey.
He speaks fluent English and intermediate German. He holds Yachtmaster certificate, GMDSS GOC and Cmas Diver Licence.

SAILOR – Cınar AK
Although Cınar just spent his 4th season on yachts, he is a real asset. Always ready to help, assist and serve. His love for the sea and the passion for looking after the guests grows by the minute and he is also the assistant engineer of Nevra Queen.
As sailor, he is happy to display his woodworking and painting skills and his position includes keeping Nevra Queen looking polished and in top shape. Cınar’s interests include swimming and hiking.

HOSTESS – Ömer SİSMAN
Omer joined the crew of S/Y Wicked Felina in 2015 then she moved to S/Y Bella Mare with the rest of the crew in 2017.
Prior to this he had worked as chief receptionist in a private company. She is delighted to have set sail on what she regards to be a more challenging and adventurous life at the sea. Omer speaks a fair English and her friendly energetic demeanor contributes to the warmth and congeniality of the atmosphere aboard.
She joined Nevra Queen in 2020.

HOUSE KEEPER – Cansel Kara
She was born in Istanbul and has worked in the hotel industry for five years. She is now looking for more adventure for her life and decided to join the crew of Nevra Queen. She is the newest crew and very excited about her new position.
She speaks fluent English and has a very good knowledge about serving and vine tasting.

Greek Dodecanese:
If the rules for Turkish commercial flagged gulet will be the same of 2024, in 2025 the yacht will cruise also in Greek Dodecanese following the following rules:
- Embarkation and disembarkation must be in a Turkish port;
- Guest change is not allowed in Greek waters;
- All the expenses for navigation in Greek waters will be on client's side (TEPADAH PLUS and TEPAI taxes, Custom and agency fees, Landing fees in each Greek island, Vat on fuel).

How does the charter contract work?

The contract is signed directly between the Owner and the Charterer, with the support of the broker. It is usually based on the international MYBA contract model, designed to ensure clear and balanced protection for both parties.
There is also the figure of the Stakeholder, responsible for safely holding the funds until the end of the charter.

What is included in the charter fee?

The base rate includes the rental of the yacht, the use of all onboard equipment, the presence of the crew, and the related insurance coverage.
Operational expenses such as fuel, provisioning, marina fees, beverages, and additional activities are not included and are managed through the APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance).

The exact list of what is included or excluded will be confirmed when selecting the yacht.

What is the APA and how does it work?

The APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance) is an advance fund, usually equal to 25–35% of the charter fee, allocated to cover operational expenses such as fuel, provisioning, marina fees, paid activities, beverages, and the guests’ personalized requests.

At the end of the cruise, the Captain provides a detailed breakdown of all expenditures. Any unused amount is refunded to the client, while any overages are settled directly upon closing the charter.

What are the payment terms?

Upon signing the contract, a payment of 50% of the total amount is required.
The balance — including APA, taxes, and any additional charges — is typically due around five weeks before embarkation (depending on the owner).
Payments are made via bank transfer, which is the standard method in the luxury charter industry.

Can I cancel a booking?

Yes, cancellations are possible, but the contractual terms apply.
In general, if the client decides to withdraw, the Owner retains the deposits already paid.

If the yacht is rebooked for the same period, the Owner refunds the amount recovered, minus the applicable commissions.

Every cancellation request is handled with full transparency.

How can I choose the yacht that best suits my needs?

The choice depends primarily on the type of experience you wish to enjoy:

How far in advance should I book?

For peak season (Mediterranean: June–September; Caribbean: December–April), it is advisable to book several months in advance to secure the best available options.

Is it possible to personalise menus, preferences, and activities?

Absolutely. Before departure, you will receive a Preference Sheet where you can indicate your tastes, dietary needs, allergies, beverage preferences, and the activities you wish to enjoy.
The Chef and the Captain will use this information to create a fully customised experience for you.

How many guests can be accommodated on board?

Most yachts can host 6 to 12 guests, depending on their interior layout.
Some superyachts over 80 metres, compliant with international certifications, can accommodate up to 36 guests.

Will I have Internet access during the charter?

Most yachts offer Wi-Fi on board, provided through mobile networks or satellite systems. The quality and speed of the connection may vary depending on the cruising area and the technology installed.

Is tipping the crew expected?

Tipping is not mandatory, but it is a well-established custom to show appreciation for the crew’s service.
International guidelines suggest an amount equal to 10–15% of the base charter fee as a reference.
