Jure Restovic
Captain

Nation: Croatian
Speaking Languages: Croatian, English

Luka
Chef

Captain: Jure Restovic
Our amazing captain Jure comes from little fishing and shipbuilding village Milna on the island of Brač. His dad was a craftsman, shipbuilder and sailor, so he grew up near the boats and learned the same skills. He has worked on a small ship cruiser, big overseas cargo ships, then again as a sailor on yachts and finally as a captain, which was his lifelong dream. This will be his 25th year working on the sea. Jure is a big fan of fishing and being on the sea, so don't be surprised when he takes you to the most mesmerising bays and coves where he catches fresh fish and calamari for you. He is also a very passionate craftsman and a guy who can just fix anything. However, on top of all that he is simply an awesome human being - guests adore him and crew even more. He will show you how to truly enjoy everything that the Adriatic sea has to offer, while on Corsario.

FUN FACTS:
- Favourite Food: Octopus under the bell (peka).
- Best island in Croatia: My island of course: Brac.
- Favourite wind: Maestral winds (Northwest wind that blows in the summer). Perfect for sailing and I love to sail.
- Favourite drink: Local Croatian wine, particularly if it is home made.
- Favourite thing about Corsario: The opportunity to meet new people and show them the beauties of our home.

To the new guests, all I can say is - You will be happy to get to know us.

CHEF: Luka Vulić
Very frequently guests are surprised with levels of the food that we serve on Corsario and it is Luka's "fault". This incredibly talented chef, comes from a small little coastal town - Omiš, where Corsario's roots are too.

Luka had years of international cheffing experience at the very beginning of his career, after which he came back to Croatia and worked as a head chef in some of the best fine dining restaurants on the island Hvar and in Split. After years of restaurant experience, he became a chef in newly built exclusive hotel in his home town, where he stayed for 2 years. Finally, he came to work on Corsario and this will be his 6th year serving beautiful dishes on charters.

In October 2024, Luka won prestigious award - 2nd place at CROYA Chef’s Competition, among many other chefs! We are so happy to have him as one of our leaders among the crew.

FUN FACTS:
- Favourite Food: Seafood risotto
- Best place in Croatia: Omiš - it has an extraordinary combination of sea, mountain and river. People there are so welcoming and nice.
- Favourite fish: Sea bass by far
- Favourite drink: Lots of coffee!
- Favourite thing about Corsario: I do believe we go above and beyond to show the guests the best of Croatia. Personally, I love showing them authentic Croatian dishes and pointing out how easily we get fresh, local and organic products here. Food tastes so much better, just because of its local origin.

CHIEF STEWARD & BARMAN: Dario Topić
When you go through Corsario feedback in our book of impressions, Dario might be the name that repeats the most, along with Jure and Luka. His warm personality and attention to detail are great, but what really makes him perfect for this job is his humour and witty jokes that will draw a smile on your face even when you don't expect it.

Dario has outstanding knowledge of Croatian wines and wines in general, admirable cocktail making skills and many ideas for organising themed nights for the guests. His extensive working experience in 5 star hotels and some fine dining restaurants gave him not just great skills and interest in the service industry, but also a deep knowledge of the local bar and restaurants. So in case you need recommendation for restaurants and bars, he is the person to ask.

In 2024 he won prestigious award - 1st place at the Designer Water Competition at the first CROYA event, among many other yachts. His skills outshined the rest. We are so proud to have him with us, 6 years running!

FUN FACTS:
- Favourite food: I love pasta.
- Best island in Croatia: Hvar!
- Favourite cocktail: Negroni.
- Favourite drink: Freshly squeezed lemonade.
- Favourite thing about Corsario: I love making people happy and also this job makes me happy. Guests are often surprised about Croatia being amongst the finest of what Mediterranean has to offer. To many of them it is still a hidden gem.

SOUS CHEF: Ivana Bralic
Ivana is our new full time addition to the crew! She is very familiar with Corsario as she used to join some charters as a sous chef in the past and the crew and guests loved having her around. Besides being Luka’s great friend and former co-worker, Ivana is known as one of the best pastry chefs in Croatia. With lots of international experience, years of education and great references, Corsario's galley will be producing even more extraordinary dishes.

Ivana's warm personality, always with a smile is a perfect addition to the Corsario team.

BOSUN: Tonci Zulin
Tonći was born on the island of Hvar, which remains his favourite island on the Adriatic. He is known among the crew as a versatile colleague, who's general knowledge is vast and varied.

Tonći will take care of cleanliness on the deck, navigational operations, water toys and transfers to wherever you need to go with a dinghy. During the winter time, Tonci sails on big explorer ships over the ocean. His summers are currently reserved for Corsario. He loves working with people and Corsario with her unique design, remains his favourite yacht on the Adriatic. This is Tonci's 4th year on board.

STEWARDESS: Nensi Krolo
The warmest smile on Corsario, even though competition is hard, belongs to Nensi! Nensi has been in the team for 4 years and this is her 2nd season on Corsario. Nensi's main responsibilities are to help at the bar, on the deck, and to do the housekeeping. Housekeeping is what Nensi loves the most. She takes care of the cabins, laundry and interior in general and she keeps it in an impeccable state, adding a lot of charm to it with thoughtful detalis.

Nensi loves dancing, music and hanging out with friends. She loves extreme sports and has taken up climbing. She adores Corsario mostly because of the people that she works with.

STEWARDESS: Ana Gudelj
Ana is an enthusiastic and dedicated professional with a strong passion for hospitality, travel, the sea, and connecting with people. She brings a positive, guest-focused approach to every charter, with a commitment to delivering seamless, five-star service. Ana thrives in dynamic environments and consistently upholds high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and discretion, while fostering a warm and welcoming atmosphere on board.

DECKHAND: Marin Brekalo
Marin is the youngest member on board. This is his 3rd year sailing and 2nd on Corsario.

The Crew love him because he is humble and eager to learn. His job is on deck - from water toys, navigational operations to taking care of cleanliness of the exterior part. However, if anyone needs any help - in the galley, in the service department, or anywhere - he is there to help. He loves working with captain Jure for many reasons but mainly he wants to gain from Jure's wealth of knowledge.

Marin fell in love with the sea and he sees his career only on boats. One day he hopes to become a captain. His warm personality fits well on Corsario.

DECKHAND: Ante Prgomet
Ante brings a genuine passion for working with people, complemented by a strong drive to succeed and continuously learn. With a deep love for watersports and traveling, he is a dedicated deckhand with more than 6 years of experience. Ante's commitment to being the best support for his team and supervisors is evident in his proactive approach and dedication.
Outside of yachting, he enjoys traveling, running, working out at the gym, and has trained in rowing with consistently good results.

Questions & Answers

How does the charter contract work?

The contract is signed directly between the Owner and the Charterer, with the support of the broker. It is usually based on the international MYBA contract model, designed to ensure clear and balanced protection for both parties.
There is also the figure of the Stakeholder, responsible for safely holding the funds until the end of the charter.

What is included in the charter fee?

The base rate includes the rental of the yacht, the use of all onboard equipment, the presence of the crew, and the related insurance coverage.
Operational expenses such as fuel, provisioning, marina fees, beverages, and additional activities are not included and are managed through the APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance).

The exact list of what is included or excluded will be confirmed when selecting the yacht.

What is the APA and how does it work?

The APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance) is an advance fund, usually equal to 25–35% of the charter fee, allocated to cover operational expenses such as fuel, provisioning, marina fees, paid activities, beverages, and the guests’ personalized requests.

At the end of the cruise, the Captain provides a detailed breakdown of all expenditures. Any unused amount is refunded to the client, while any overages are settled directly upon closing the charter.

What are the payment terms?

Upon signing the contract, a payment of 50% of the total amount is required.
The balance — including APA, taxes, and any additional charges — is typically due around five weeks before embarkation (depending on the owner).
Payments are made via bank transfer, which is the standard method in the luxury charter industry.

Can I cancel a booking?

Yes, cancellations are possible, but the contractual terms apply.
In general, if the client decides to withdraw, the Owner retains the deposits already paid.

If the yacht is rebooked for the same period, the Owner refunds the amount recovered, minus the applicable commissions.

Every cancellation request is handled with full transparency.
Further details on the applicable policies are available upon direct request.

How can I choose the yacht that best suits my needs?

The choice depends primarily on the type of experience you wish to enjoy:

  • Motor yacht for maximum comfort, excellent stability, and fast transfers.

  • Sailing yacht for an authentic, quiet experience rooted in traditional navigation.

  • Catamaran for generous spaces, superior stability, and enhanced privacy.

BeBlue evaluates the destination, number of guests, personal preferences, and budget to select the most suitable option for you.

How far in advance should I book?

For peak season (Mediterranean: June–September; Caribbean: December–April), it is advisable to book several months in advance to secure the best available options.
We can also handle last-minute requests, depending on availability and licensing requirements.

Is it possible to personalise menus, preferences, and activities?

Absolutely. Before departure, you will receive a Preference Sheet where you can indicate your tastes, dietary needs, allergies, beverage preferences, and the activities you wish to enjoy.
The Chef and the Captain will use this information to create a fully customised experience for you.

How many guests can be accommodated on board?

Most yachts can host 6 to 12 guests, depending on their interior layout.
Some superyachts over 80 metres, compliant with international certifications, can accommodate up to 36 guests.

Will I have Internet access during the charter?

Most yachts offer Wi-Fi on board, provided through mobile networks or satellite systems. The quality and speed of the connection may vary depending on the cruising area and the technology installed.

Is tipping the crew expected?

Tipping is not mandatory, but it is a well-established custom to show appreciation for the crew’s service.
International guidelines suggest an amount equal to 10–15% of the base charter fee as a reference.
