From here you can get to Lake Muritz very quickly. You could try your hand at canoeing, sailing, fishing or just sail at your leisure and take a refreshing swim.

Day 2

Continuing towards the lake your first stop is Mirow, birthplace of Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz, Queen consort of George III of the United Kingdom. This aristocratic heritage is reflected in particular on Castle Island where you can discover the magnificent Baroque Mirow Castle with its elegant gardens and chapel.

Day 3

On the southern side of the lake you can plan a stop in Rechlin where its main attraction is the National Park for its environmental characteristics with woods, an ideal habitat for bear, lynx, deer, eagles and hawks. Visit the beautiful old villages of Röbel and Waren with their lively centers and picturesque buildings, typical waterfront bars and restaurants and cozy equipped port facilities. Take advantage of a walk along the lake and admire its magnificent landscapes.

The Jabel base in western Macklemburg is ideal for navigating the lakes in this area. Before setting off with your houseboat, remember to go to the Visitor Center of the Damerow Nature Reserve where you can show your children the last specimens of European bison, real survivors of the extensive forests that once covered much of the central Europe.

Day 5

Your next stop will be Malchow, also known as the island city, where a swing bridge connects the island to the shore. You will discover its many treasures in its historic center, such as a huge mill and a 12th-century church that houses the organ museum. Continuing your navigation you will arrive in Plau am See where you can stroll peacefully through the center with the numerous half-timbered houses and the church from whose tower you can enjoy an incomparable panoramic view of the area.

Day 6

Other destinations near Marina Wolfsbruch that you can visit are Rheinsberg with its wonderful Rococo-style castle and surrounded by lush nature, home of the Prussian king Frederick the Great, and Neustrelitz will offer you many beautiful places to see such as the old town with its architecture. and the beautiful gardens to stroll.

Day 7

Furstenberg is a must-see destination, perched on three islands between the Röblinsee, Baalensee and Schwedtsee lakes. For this unique feature in Germany, it is called the city of water. There are numerous paths where you can take a walk or hike in the peaceful wilderness, where you might come across deer, wild boar and even some birds of prey. Enjoy a relaxing swim in the exceptional water of the lakes or adrenalin-pumping water sports. Finally, visit the World War II war memorial.
