Day 1: Check-in
Boarding at 9 am - Almouj Marina a Mascate: You will leave the marina at around 9.30am, and begin a leisurely 3-hour sail to the Damaniyat Islands, nature reserve. Arriving at around mid-afternoon you will have plenty of time to swim, snorkel and explore the stunning beaches and corals of Jun Island, and its abundance of marine life. In the evening you will anchor for the night just off from the secluded beach and relax underneath the clear night sky, before enjoying a delicious 3-course meal onboard or a BBQ dinner on the beach.
Head North along the set of 9 Damaniyat islands to spend the day in police bay and the aquarium. This area is famous for turtle watching, and turtle nesting during the summer season, and the aquarium offers some of the best snorkeling and diving in Oman. Relax on the white sandy beaches, explore the rocky terrain, and swim in the most beautiful waters. Before returning to the yacht to enjoy a freshly prepared meal, and spending the evening in the peaceful ambience of the islands.
Depart the Damaniyat islands after breakfast for a sail further along the coastline towards the capital of Muscat. You will take a short break for lunch along the way, whilst anchored at Al Fahal Island, followed by a sail past the corniche at Muttrah, the Royal Palace and cemetery bay. That evening you will berth overnight in Barr Al Jissah, and enjoy a buffet dinner at the world famous Shangri La resort.
Breakfast on board before sailing South towards Bander Al Khayran. A stunning fjord, home to hundreds of species or marine life and coral reefs. Anchor in your choice of one of the many coves and beaches and explore the inlets by dinghy or paddle board. For those of you who are feeling adventurous, step ashore to climb the rocky terrain and take in the breathtaking views. Another excellent opportunity to enjoy an evening beach BBQ.
Wake up in the beautiful mountains of Bander Al Khayran and swim in the crystal clear waters, before having breakfast on board. After breakfast you will sail further along the coast to the Jebel Sifah marina, where you can take advantage of the resorts swimming pools, bars, and spa facilities. Go Ashore and enjoy dinner and drinks at one of the many marina side restaurants, before enjoying a peaceful night at berth inside the marina.
Wake up to the most amazing sunrise, as you take breakfast on board the yacht or at the marina cafe. Relax and enjoy the view of the un spoilt beaches and terrain as you sail 2 hours North to reach the Muscat Hills Resort. Here you will tie up along side and spend the day in one of the newest beach resorts in Muscat, where watersports and dive facilities will be made available. As well as a swimming pool, restaurants, shisha and bar facilities. After of day of activities or relaxing on the beach the yacht will anchor just outside the bay for you to enjoy the clear view of the starry sky, and have a peaceful nights sleep.
Day 7: Check-out
Leave your anchorage just after sunrise, and head in to Marina Bander Al Rowdha for breakfast. Take a dip in the marina swimming pool before heading back to the yacht. Relax onboard and enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the old town of Muttrah, whilst making your way back to Al Mouj Marina. If you are lucky you may even get to see the dolphins. The yacht will arrive back at the marina around 12pm for you to disembark at your leisure.
