If you choose to travel by train, the coastal towns of Cilento are connected with Naples and the main Italian cities. During the weekend some trips from Salerno are extended to Sapri, also reaching the Agropoli-Castellabate station directly. Punta Licosa composed of small beaches close to a pine forest, immersed in crystalline and uncrowded waters, constitutes the Punta Licosa Marine Reserve, in 2005 it was included among the 11 most beautiful beaches in Italy. Acciaroli boasts a unique landscape reality, both as regards the coastal area and the surrounding hilly area. Santa Maria di Castellabate known for its beautiful beaches and for its historic center, very lively and crowded with shops along the main street. You will also find fishing boats where you can buy fresh fish early in the morning.
