NOT TO BE MISSED View
Sailing among the islands of Northern Sardinia means immersing yourself in one of the most fascinating stretches of sea in the Mediterranean. The heart of this area is the Archipelago of La Maddalena, a natural paradise made of crystal-clear waters, hidden coves, and granite islands shaped by the wind. Caprera is its beating heart: a wild and green island, where coves like Cala Coticcio, compared to Tahiti for its Caribbean colors, welcome the navigator in a protected and silent environment, where the Mediterranean scrub mixes with rocks shaped by the wind. A walk inside the island leads to the Garibaldi Compendium, the historic residence of the Hero of the Two Worlds, immersed in a timeless atmosphere. Budelli fascinates with its legendary Pink Beach, now protected, and the Natural Pools, a lagoon with unreal colors where the water is still and clear as crystal. Not far away, Spargi offers unforgettable places like Cala Corsara, framed by rocks and seabeds perfect for swimming or snorkeling. Crossing the Strait of Bonifacio, the passage to Corsica opens. With the right wind, entering the natural harbor of Bonifacio is a breathtaking spectacle, the limestone cliffs rise steeply from the sea, and the citadel dominates the horizon with its ancient walls. After a stop in Corsica, the route is set towards the Island of Santa Maria, quiet and little frequented. Here is the lighthouse of Punta Filetto, offering an invaluable panorama, while the large sandy cove invites a stop in the roadstead. The Island of La Maddalena closes the circle with its lively historic center, perfect for a walk after days at sea, and with coves like Cala Francese, where the peace of nature accompanies the last moments of navigation in this unspoiled corner of Sardinia.
