Itinerary

This is an example itinerary suggested by the BeBlue skippers who are experts in the navigation area. The route can be planned on the needs of the group before departure or during navigation.

1

Day 1 - Check-in:

Boarding is scheduled from 3 p.m. at the Ginowan Marina in Naha. Here you can buy numerous local products and stock up on fresh fruit for the galley for the following days. In any case, you can buy perishable products or dine on the ground every night. The Ginowan Marina is one of the largest and most equipped navies for any need, full of local shops and restaurants.

2

Day 2

Set sail immediately after breakfast at Nagannu; the island is famous for its bright white beaches and the contrast that is created with the crystal clear water, thanks to which you can dive and snorkel. The appearance of the coast also allows you to use the Tender to be able to go in advance along the bays; Right here the first American troops landed during World War II! We recommend having lunch at anchor and landing in the city only in the evening, in order to enjoy a typical local dinner at one of the many restaurants in the area.

3

Day 3

After a breakfast in Zumami Bay, you will set sail for the islands of Aka and Geruma Shima. The two islands are connected by a walkable bridge, which offers an indescribable experience. These islands are the smallest in okinawa district, but they also have a post office, a hospital and several observatories from which you will enjoy a priceless landscape! We therefore recommend, after lunch and after a dip in the blue sea, to go ashore and follow the characteristic path that runs through the city of Geruma and go to see the Kerama deer; they were imported to the island 400 years ago from Kyushu and have since become part of the local wildlife.

4

Day 4

After breakfast, set sail to Kume Island, which is said to be the most beautiful in the Okinawa district. It is famous for its prized fabrics called "Kumejima-tsumugi". These fabrics have even been proclaimed Japan's cultural heritage! Another local product not to be missed is Kumesen Awamori, Okinawan sake. During your stay on the island, we recommend going ashore and visiting Uezu House, Governor Ryūkyū's former home. The building is surrounded by walls and surrounded by magnificent Japanese gardens in their original forms, a true insight into what noble life could have been like at the time, immersed in nature and contemplative peace.

5

Day 5

Today sail to Hatenohama, a 7km-long beach also called the tropical paradise between the islands of Okinawa. The white beach and emerald-green water will allow you to relax and snorkel among the most beautiful seabeds in the area. The evening will spend with a dinner by boat watching the sunset on the sea.

6

Day 6

After breakfast it is advisable to sail to the island of Aguni which is located about 60 km northwest of Okinawa. The island is characterized by chalky white rocks of volcanic origin, this is because a century ago there was an active volcano right in the northern part of the island, now called Aguni Salt, which we recommend to visit through the tours organized on site.

7

Day 7

Today you will sail back to Ginowan. We recommend that you have lunch in navigation and commit the afternoon, once made land, to visit the castle of Shuri Castle, the structure was the residence of the sovereigns, then center of government, and the religious seat of the kingdom of Ryūkyū. Return to the Marina at 18:00 with overnight stay in the port included. Enjoy the evening among the restaurants and locals of the place where there will be opportunities to listen to popular local melodies accompanied by the Sanshin (local Okinawan String Instrument).

Highlights

We recommend that you do not miss the crossing at the most serene point between the islands of Aka and Geruma. A unique experience in a landscape nowhere to be found elsewhere!

To evoke traditional Japanese culture, its decorative red and white shapes recommend not to miss the two most famous government residences in the archipelago: Uezu House and Shuri Castle.

Don't avoid having a few dinners on the ground in local restaurants in order to savor the typical sea dishes and listen to the typical melodies of the place that are played with a stringed instrument called Sanshin.
