Day 1: Check-In
After taking your place in your cabins and after a welcome cocktail on board, we will sail to the island of Sebayur Besar where you can go snorkelling in the island's coral reef. This island is famous for the beautiful landscape it offers within the Komodo National Park. Many visitors also enjoy trekking through the beautiful hills near the beach, the view from the top is mind-blowing and definitely worth the effort. From here we will be able to explain and show you what our next destinations will be. Coming down from the hill you will be impressed by looking at the sky which turns pink during sunset. We will then conclude our day with a delicious aperitif on the beach.
Today we will sail to Siaba Besar, in front of this island there is a diving spot nicknamed "city of turtles" for the dozens of green turtles that swim among the corals and if you are lucky you might even meet a barracuda swimming among the seabed. Once back to the boat we will sail to Gili Lawa Darat and before dinner you can take a short trekking route to reach the top of the hill where a fantastic panoramic view will surround you. Overnight on board and dinner served under the stars.
Today you will visit the unforgettable Makassar Reef, better known as Manta Point: the yacht will sail near the fantastic and harmless manta rays, you will have the privilege of being able to observe them up close by swimming and snorkelling with them. After this incredible experience we will visit the island of Gili Makassar, the most beautiful of the park with its white sand beaches and its pristine and shallow waters. In the afternoon we will sail to Padar Island where we highly recommend to reach the top of the island to enjoy the sunset from above and the most breathtaking landscape view you will see in your life.
After a great breakfast, you will visit the world famous pink beach, the color due to the broken coral parts from the nearby coral reef. Here you can start snorkelling on the reef full of corals and colorful fish. We will then head to the Rinca ranger station from where the trek to see the komodo dragon will start. There are 3 trekking durations: short (1h), medium (1.5h-2h) and long (2.5h). As a last stop we will sail to Kalong, a small island made up of a mangrove forest, where if you are lucky enough, you will be able to observe the suggestive flight of bats that inhabit the island at sunset.
