Day 1: Check-in

On Sunday afternoon, starting from 6.30 pm, you will be welcomed to take your place in the cabin. You will find your boat at the Royal Malta Yacth Club – Ta’Xbiex in Malta. Afterwards, there will be a short briefing to explain some important aspects regarding safety on board and navigation, as well as itinerary and holiday program (in any case, the participation in shore-based activities, even though they are planned, is very free!). Starting from 7.30 pm, you will be free to visit La Valletta and have dinner in one of our selected Restaurants (included in the price). Overnight stay on board at the Royal Malta Yacht Club.

Day 2

Monday: after breakfast, we will discover super beautiful beaches and bays around the fascinating island of Malta. After a short sailing to test the crew and see the inlets on the northern side of the island, the most populated, we will stop in St. Paul Bay for a dive and a swim. After our lunch aboard, we move to the island of Comino, to spend the night at anchor.

Day 3

Tuesday: day dedicated to the sun and the clear waters of the Blue Lagoon in Comino: if you are not lazy, you can admire the Blue Lagoon also from the top of the island of Cominotto, a few dozen meters above sea level. In the afternoon, we sail towards San Lorenzo, where we will find one of the most suggestive bays in Gozo: Dweira Bay, also called Fungus Bay, which will leave you speechless and where we will spend the night. Here, moreover, you can admire the “Azure Window”, dive into the waters of the “Blue Hole”, and visit the beautiful closed bay of “Il-Qwra” (in Maltese: inland sea), to swim in its deep fissure in the rock connecting it with the open sea.

Day 4

Wednesday: in the early morning, we move towards another beach in Gozo: Ramla Bay, with its characteristic red sand. Here you can visit the cave of Calypso, where the beautiful nymph, as told in Homer’s Odyssey, kept Ulysses prisoner for seven years, promising him eternal life. At the end of the day, we will move to Mgarr Marina in Gozo, where you can have an aperitif at sunset enjoying the suggestive view offered by various little bars with terraces overlooking the sea. Later on, we go ashore to have dinner in a restaurant. In the evening, you can reach Victoria, the charming capital of Gozo, for a night view from the top of the island. We will wait for you at the pier for our overnight stay aboard.

Day 5

Thursday: we stop in Mgarr until the afternoon, where you have the possibility of visiting Victoria with its fortified citadel, the Neolithic site from the times of Ggantija (World Heritage from 1980), and much more! Visiting all the attractions in Gozo is simple thanks to the ticket for the tourist bus that we will give you (many trips last the whole day and will let you stop in every place you want to see in Gozo). Lunch will be free, so that you can make the best of your time to visit the island. We meet around 5 pm at the pier and leave towards Paradise Bay in Malta, where we will have dinner aboard and sleep at anchor.

Day 6

Friday: after a last bath in the beautiful and quiet Paradise Bay, we move to Anchor Bay, the bay of Popeye’s Village, loved by divers for its super clear waters full of fishes and famous for the original set of the movie “Popeye”. Lunch aboard, and in the early afternoon we move to St. Julian’s Bay with a relaxing two-hour trip. We will have dinner in one of the many restaurants in the nearby Paceville, real heart of the Maltese nightlife. After dinner, you can still enjoy the nightlife of St. Julian, with its bars and discos for every taste and age and the Dragonara Casino. We will wait for you aboard after a party night.

Day 7: Check-out

Saturday: in the morning, we move to Ta’Xbiex pier, final destination of our trip. But the holiday is not ended yet, because this is the day dedicated to a visit to the capital of Malta, La Valletta, fortified citadel on the highest point of the island representing the historical center. You can have a walk around Sliema, with its lively promenade and its shops, or visit Mdina, original capital of Malta (15 km from the yacht club). If you like, you can also take a longer route and rent a scooter to travel easily around the island. Lunch will be free so that you can visit the places you wish, or aboard for those who prefer. We will say goodbye around 4 pm, ready to organize the transfer for your return trip.

The itinerary might be subject to variations due to weather conditions, safety and technical evaluations of the Captain of the boat. This programming is intended as indicative and non-binding.
