Sailing cruise: Southern Sardinia from Cagliari

Boarding scheduled for Sunday afternoon at the Gulf of Cagliari with the possibility of postponed boarding also on Monday morning. Once on board we will proceed with a welcome drink followed by the opportunity to get to know the crew better in one of the many restaurants in Cagliari, before concluding the evening in one of the many bars in the Sardinian city.

Once we have settled on the boat and become familiar with the spaces, in the morning we will go to the galley, to shop between the city market and the various shops selling typical products, it will be an excellent opportunity to get to know each other. In the early afternoon, after our first rich lunch on board, we are ready to begin this exciting experience, we leave for the first destination: the beach of Nora in Capo Pula. We will sail lulled by the waves of the sea and pushed by the force of the sail, until we will be greeted by two promontories surmounted by ancient watchtowers, it will be then that we will understand that we have arrived at our destination. It is this panorama that is the background for our first aperitif on the boat, cheers to this adventure that begins!

After a nice breakfast, we head to the next stop: Chia, undoubtedly one of the most beautiful beaches in Sardinia. During navigation, those who want to try can help the skipper to hoist and adjust the sails, definitely an experience not to be missed! Once you reach your destination, mask and snorkel in hand and immediately ready to dive into these crystal clear waters, and then take a walk on the beach with its numerous kiosks. In the afternoon we leave for the Gulf of Teulada, we enjoy the last dives of the day and we get ready for the night at anchor.

What better way to wake up than with a nice dip in these pristine waters? And after a nice breakfast, we set sail for the Island of San Pietro, more precisely in the direction of Carloforte. Before entering the port we will stop in the inevitable bay to refresh ourselves from the bullshit and leave the sails of the day: for those who wish, in fact, the skipper also gives sailing lessons (he cares a lot, better to support him). In the late afternoon we will arrive at our destination, a walk through the shops, and then a nice fish-based dinner in a typical restaurant. We will then spend the night in port.

In the morning we are ready to sail along the coast of the island of Sant’Antioco until we reach the dunes of Porto Pino beach: a boundless desert of soft and fine white sand, shaped by the wind. The Mistral, dominant in this stretch of sea, will allow us a fun sailing with a stern wind and we will be able to cross the Gulf of Palmas. We drop anchor on these beautiful turquoise beaches and reach the shore by swimming or for those who want to stay completely relaxed, with the tender. Here at night the calm and transparent water invites you to a midnight swim under the stars.

In the morning we are ready to sail along the coast of the island of Sant’Antioco until we reach the dunes of Porto Pino beach: a boundless desert of soft and fine white sand, shaped by the wind. With a nice crossing, in which we have fun maneuvering the boat as new skippers, we head towards the Gulf of Cagliari, more precisely pointing the route towards Poetto, the famous Cagliari beach. A sparkling evening awaits us, to the rhythm of aperitifs and music both on board and ashore, with DJs and bands alternating in the various kiosks on the sea.

It's time for the last breakfast on board, and maybe even some last dive, to leave no room for the imminent nostalgia. The landing is scheduled at 9:00, but we are sure it was a fantastic experience that will remain in everyone's heart, until next time!
