Day 1: Check-in
Embarkation is scheduled for Sunday afternoon at the Darsena dell'Orologio in Caorle. After the captain's briefing and the assignment of cabins, guests will be able to organise the galley. A walk through the city centre to the Caorle waterfront, also known as 'Little Venice', is highly recommended...
After breakfast, we finally set sail! Umag, the first place we encounter when we arrive in Istria from the north, captivates with its charm and richness of offer. Umag is a town that, with its 45 km of coastline and interesting hinterland, synthesizes the special features of the entire region. While the skipper takes care of all the customs formalities, you can go ashore and enjoy appreciating the town centre: the partially preserved town walls with the movable bridge from the 10th century, the 16th century church of St Roch with its marvellous frescoed ceiling, as well as the town museum displaying vessels and ancient crafts from the Roman period, are worth a visit.
After a breakfast on board admiring the fantastic landscape, we will set sail towards Rovinj. With a short sail we will reach our destination, but there will be no lack of stops to relax in wonderful places and take a dip in the beautiful Croatian sea. Rovinj, also called the St. Tropez of Istria because of its liveliness, is perhaps the most beautiful town on the coast with its steep stairways, picturesque alleys, old white stone houses and the Romanesque cathedral of St. Euphemia, situated on a hill and whose imposing bell tower dominates the skyline. You can dine on board or in one of the countless konoba, typical Rovinj taverns.
In the morning, we will leave the port of Rovinj and sail to the Brijuni Islands, one of the most beautiful national marine parks on the Adriatic. Here you will be able to enjoy the sea and untouched nature of these beautiful islands with a sea bed rich in fish and perfect for diving. After lunch on board, we will sail to Pula, a city with a rich heritage of Roman architecture: the famous Pula Arena, with the sea glimpsed through the arches of the walls and the white colour of the stone creating a striking contrast to the blue waters, is the ideal setting for exciting memories and breathtaking photographs. For dinner, you can go ashore and dine in one of the city's typical restaurants or stay on board the catamaran and enjoy a meal under the stars.
In the morning we will leave the port of Pula and head towards Novigrad, one of the most characteristic towns in Istria, rich in cultural and historical heritage. As you stroll through the charming streets of the centre, you will notice the old villas, the solid walls that still surround parts of the town, and numerous small churches and palaces that adorn the squares, recalling the times when bishops and nobles ruled the town. In the afternoon, you can enjoy the sea from the catamaran or go ashore at one of the beautiful beaches along the coast, before re-boarding for a sunset aperitif.
After a good breakfast we will leave Novigrad to sail to Grado, a small town by the sea with a historic centre with Venetian charm. You can choose whether to fully enjoy the sea and its sandy beaches, or to go ashore to visit the centre. In the late afternoon you will re-board to return to Caorle.
Day 7: Check-out
