Day 1: Check-In

Boarding available after 16:00 on Saturday afternoon at the Marina di Porto Torres. After the accommodation on board and briefing with the Skipper for safety instructions and description of the route, you can decide to sail immediately and make route in a sheltered cove for the night, or spend the evening in the beautiful streets of Porto Torres.

Day 2

In the morning, the skipper will give you some basic instructions and rules to enjoy your holiday at best. Once you are ready, you will sail to one of the most beautiful beaches in Europe, La Pelosa. White dunes covered with junipers are in front of turquoise crystal-clear waters: it's time for the first swim, gazed by the Spanish towers ashore. You will spend the night in the sea, cuddled by the sea that centuries ago was navigated by pirates and merchants.

Day 3

Inside a group, there are those who always wake up early and those who can't do anything unless they don't have a coffee. But no worries, there is enough time for anybody: breakfast, swimming, and then we start our day. Once we sail in front of Capo Falcone, we head towards Argenteria beach to have lunch. You will have the chance to explore the ancient mining plants that give the name to this place. Later we move towards Porto Conte: this natural park and its beabed are marine protected area.

Day 4

It is not possible to leave this inlet without exploring its caverns. Where the rocky coasts meet the water, the faces are full of caverns and the most famous on is the Neptune's Grotto. In the evening Alghero awaits you, with its Catalan origins, it's also known as the capital of fine coral. You can walk around the bastions of the port and then head towards the city center, which is full of restaurants.

Day 5

Since we are near the port, we can take advantage and have a coffee at the bar before sail back to the north of Sardinia. For those who are into sailing operations, this is the perfect time to pratice: you can study the wind, control the sails and head towards Asinara, passing Passo dei Fornelli. For those who aren't at the boat's wheel, it's the perfect time to relax: you will be cuddled by the boat, with a view on the sea. The only risk: a few refreshing spurts. At sunset, you still have time for swimming, before having dinner.

Day 6

After a rich breakfast, you can take your time to enjoy the wonderful Asinara from all the points of view. This place is fascinating not only because of its beautiful colours or the richness of its seabed, but also because of its history. For more than one century, this island was the seat of a maximum security prison: although now disused, the atmosphere of isolation is still present. Cala Reale is the perfect departure point for excursions on shore: you can rent bicycles, reach the turtles' recovery and care centre or you can visit the factories where natural cosmetics are made with local plants and donkey milk.

Day 7

You will wake up at Cala d'Oliva, a little fisherman village until 1885, when the ex-penal colony was built. Ashore there are two different routes for trekking lovers: the first one, know as "del Leccio", till the wood of Elighe Mannu, and the second one, known as "del Faro", till Punta Scorno, the north end of the island. If you prefer to stay on board, we will take you to the bay with the deepest turquoise waters for the last swims before heading back to Porto Torres.

Day 8: Check-out

Disembarkation is scheduled by 9 a.m., there is time to have breakfast, arrange the luggage and say goodbye calmly. It is time to exchange phone numbers, email addresses, social accounts: we share photos of this holiday to make it last as long as possible. Happy return and good wind, always.

The itinerary may be subject to variations based on the weather, safety and technical assessments of the captain of the boat. This program is intended as indicative and not binding.
