Day 1: Check-in

Check-in available at 2:00 pm at the Smiths Falls base, located in the heart of Ontario, named after the owner of this land, Thomas Smyth, and the spectacular waterfalls that were diverted here to create the Rideau Canal. This town rich in history and culture will offer you everything you need. Entertain yourself in its museums, theaters, art galleries and activities in the midst of nature such as hiking or biking, and fishing. It is the ideal place to start exploring the wonderful Rideau Canal, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 2

Crossing the Beveridge locks you will enter the Tay Channel, the best area to admire the wildlife and to reach the city of Perth, where you will feel its creative spirit in its shops, restaurants, local artists' workshops where anyone can find something to buy , and at the Theater Festival. Also visit his museum if you want to find out more about the history of the city. The next stop is Rideau Ferry, located between Big and Lower Rideau Lake. A city characterized by many events and festivals, do not miss the biannual regatta of vintage boats, which has been held since 1897, and the fishing derby.

Day 3

The navigation will take you to the Portland village located on Big Rideau Lake. Nearby passes the Cataraqui trail, 103 km long, which connects Smith Falls with Strathcona, perfect for walking or cycling where you will admire the wonderful natural landscape of Ontario. You won't be able to leave Portland empty-handed thanks to its unique shops, where you can find antiques and collectibles.

Day 4

Your navigation continues to Westport, on Upper Rideau Lake, where you will be warmly welcomed by this charming town that will offer you many shops, boutiques and bars. You will enjoy a walk in the protected area of Foley Mountain with its spectacular views.

Day 5

Moor in Newboro, the ideal place for angling for largemouth bass and for shoppers. Above all, you cannot miss the Kilborn residence, which will give you a unique and eclectic shopping experience. You can relax and enjoy a lunch or dinner in one of the local restaurants.

Day 6

Today you will admire the impressive locks and the spectacular dam at Jones Falls. This quaint town, as well as being one of the most beautiful closing stations along the canal, is nestled in a peaceful park with numerous historic buildings to discover. You will meet a historical reenactment that will tell you the details of the history of this site.

Day 7

You cannot miss the last destination of this trip, Kingston Mills, the site where the first mill on the Rideau canal was built, the Mill of the King, and you can admire the waterfalls that are located just below the dam, then the wonderful city of Kingston which overlooks Lake Ontario. Full of art and culture, visit Agnes Etherington Art Center which houses over 16,000 fantastic contemporary and historical European works of art, then the Grand Theater and discover many other impressive 19th century buildings. This city is also famous for its many festivals and events for music lovers and also the nation's culinary capital for food lovers.

Day 8: Check-out

Double rooms and two rooms with single beds convertible in double. All beds are longer than 200cm and all mattresses have been improved in quality and thickness. Improved visibility from the saloon due to new windows design, and easy access to Fly bridge due to a new stairs and layers design. The full kitchen/galley includes a large microwave, an electric kitchen, a domestic size refrigerator, and for the first time on board on our fleet, a huge washing machine and a kettle. Fly deck is wide and flat, with fix table and seats with led lights.

This modern boat is ideal for 6 persons but thanks to the convertible dinette can comfortably take up to 8 persons on board. It’s a great boat with a lot of outstanding space to relax and take sun. There’s a fully equipped L-shaped kitchen, a gorgeous saloon with radio/CD player, and a huge elevated sundeck big enough for everyone aboard to relax. Available for wheelchairs (on request).
