HIGHLIGHTS View
Sailing among the islands of Northern Sardinia means immersing yourself in one of the most captivating stretches of sea in the Mediterranean. At the heart of this area lies the Maddalena Archipelago, a natural paradise of crystal-clear waters, hidden coves, and granite islands sculpted by the wind. Caprera is its beating heart: a wild and verdant island, where coves like Cala Coticcio, often compared to Tahiti for its Caribbean colors, welcome sailors into a protected and peaceful environment, where Mediterranean scrub blends with wind-carved rocks. A walk inland leads to the Garibaldi Compendium, the historic residence of the Hero of Two Worlds, steeped in a timeless atmosphere. Budelli enchants with its legendary Pink Beach, now protected, and the Natural Pools, a lagoon of unreal hues where the water is still and as clear as crystal. Not far away, Spargi offers unforgettable spots like Cala Corsara, framed by rock formations and seabeds perfect for swimming or snorkeling. Crossing the Strait of Bonifacio opens the passage to Corsica. With the right wind, entering the natural harbor of Bonifacio is a breathtaking experience, sheer limestone cliffs rise dramatically from the sea, and the citadel towers on the horizon with its ancient walls. After a stop in Corsica, the course is set for the Island of Santa Maria, quiet and seldom visited. Here, the Punta Filetto lighthouse offers an unmatched panorama, while the wide sandy cove invites anchorage and rest. The Island of La Maddalena completes the journey with its lively historic center, ideal for an evening stroll after days at sea, and with coves like Cala Francese, where the peace of nature accompanies the final moments of sailing in this unspoiled corner of Sardinia.
