Having grown up in Athens Greece, Antonis started successfully sailing wooden traditional boats at the age of 14 and later racing monohulls at the H.O.R.C (Hellenic Offshore Racing Club). He is 50 years old. He holds a Diploma in Offshore Sailing 200gt, Fast Boat license – certification, Race Sail certification, Member of HORC, G.M.D.S.S. General Operators’ Certificate, Technical Diver SSI, Gas Blender SSI, Nitrox SSI, Open Water SSI, EFR (Emergency First Response) PADI, AED PADI, Open Water PADI, BLS-D DAN Europe, Oxygen First Aid Provider DAN Europe. During the time of studying for his Diploma in Yacht Manufacturing, he raced on the professional circuit, mainly on Aegean Rally, as well as participating in a number of Yacht Rallies taking place at the Aegean Sea. Antonis has been working professionally in yachting for the past 21 years, initially on large sailboats including captaining one of the world’s finest 34m single-masted yacht more recently in command of a 24m Greek traditional sailing yacht. Antonis has extensively cruised the Eastern Mediterranean. In contrast to the highly organized life on board, leads an active vocational where he is a keen ROV pilot, diver, gas blender, technical diver & father of three young boys. Before joining S/Y Seatzen, Antonis commanded many yachts such as M/S Anima, M/S Faneromeni, M/S Triton, M/Y Aegeas, M/S Grit, M/Y Buddha, M/Y Akasti, M/S Thomas VI, M/S Delphini. Antonis speaks English, Romanian & German.


Engineer / Deckhand: Nikos Vlachos
Nikos is 45 years old and he is from Kymi, a coastal town in the island of Euboea, Greece, was raised in one of the prominent fishing villages, meeting point for traditional fishing boats from all over the Aegean Sea. He learned the ropes of fishing and the secrets of building and maintaining traditional wooden boats from early age next to notable technicians, following the traditions, developing appreciable passion and respect for this art form. The progression of his career brought him the later years in luxury yachts, being part of competent crews, delivering high level services in very demanding clientele, performing effortlessly, driven from his passion for the sea and hospitality.
Before joining S/Y Seatzen, he served onboard M/Y Summer Breeze, M/Y Bala, M/Y Riva I, M/Y Blue Dragonfly, M/S Afovo, M/S Anima, M/S Faneromeni. He speaks English.


Chef: Antonios Ntemogiannis
Antonios is 38 years old. He hails from North Greece previously worked and lived in Berlin Germany as a chef, event and catering organizer as well as food distributor. He had namely organized various food events, introducing Greek cuisine and high-quality food products in Berlin, being part of Markthalle Neun, one of the most important food incubators in Europe, advocating for the significance of organic and slow food. After that he got the opportunity to join Beets and Roots team at an early stage, supporting as production manager all the units and the catering function in Berlin, delivering healthy food options to companies and the general working public. He collaborated with substantial employers that provide good food for their employees and co working spaces like WeWork as well as food support in big corporate events. He moved back to Greece and more specifically in the Greek Aegean Sea, working as chef in traditional Greek boats providing food experiences that reflect values of sustainability, local sourcing, exceptional dining and hospitality. He had delivered authentic Aegean experiences in discreet and intimate environment for VIPS including royalties, head of states, international celebrities, global food entrepreneurs. Antonios speaks English & German.



Stewardess: Zenia Bonatsou
Zenia is 27 years old. She grew up in Athens and has an artistic background. She has worked in numerous fine dining restaurants and high-end hospitality establishments in Athens and Mykonos Island. Her affection to the sea and Aegean islands led her way to island life and the traditional Greek boats. She is seen as dynamic and personable yacht stewardess with a passion for delivering top-tier service. Her meticulous eye for detail ensures the highest standards of guest satisfaction and vessel presentation. Proficient in all aspects of interior yacht management, including exquisite table service and housekeeping. Adept at anticipating guest needs and providing seamless, discreet service. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with a commitment to maintaining a polished and welcoming onboard environment. Eager to contribute to the success of the cruise by delivering exceptional service and creating unforgettable experiences. She speaks English.

How does the charter contract work?

The contract is signed directly between the Owner and the Charterer, with the support of the broker. It is usually based on the international MYBA contract model, designed to ensure clear and balanced protection for both parties.
There is also the figure of the Stakeholder, responsible for safely holding the funds until the end of the charter.

What is included in the charter fee?

The base rate includes the rental of the yacht, the use of all onboard equipment, the presence of the crew, and the related insurance coverage.
Operational expenses such as fuel, provisioning, marina fees, beverages, and additional activities are not included and are managed through the APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance).

The exact list of what is included or excluded will be confirmed when selecting the yacht.

What is the APA and how does it work?

The APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance) is an advance fund, usually equal to 25–35% of the charter fee, allocated to cover operational expenses such as fuel, provisioning, marina fees, paid activities, beverages, and the guests’ personalized requests.

At the end of the cruise, the Captain provides a detailed breakdown of all expenditures. Any unused amount is refunded to the client, while any overages are settled directly upon closing the charter.

What are the payment terms?

Upon signing the contract, a payment of 50% of the total amount is required.
The balance — including APA, taxes, and any additional charges — is typically due around five weeks before embarkation (depending on the owner).
Payments are made via bank transfer, which is the standard method in the luxury charter industry.

Can I cancel a booking?

Yes, cancellations are possible, but the contractual terms apply.
In general, if the client decides to withdraw, the Owner retains the deposits already paid.

If the yacht is rebooked for the same period, the Owner refunds the amount recovered, minus the applicable commissions.

Every cancellation request is handled with full transparency.

How can I choose the yacht that best suits my needs?

The choice depends primarily on the type of experience you wish to enjoy:

  • Motor yacht for maximum comfort, excellent stability, and fast transfers.

  • Sailing yacht for an authentic, quiet experience rooted in traditional navigation.

How far in advance should I book?

For peak season (Mediterranean: June–September; Caribbean: December–April), it is advisable to book several months in advance to secure the best available options.

Is it possible to personalise menus, preferences, and activities?

Absolutely. Before departure, you will receive a Preference Sheet where you can indicate your tastes, dietary needs, allergies, beverage preferences, and the activities you wish to enjoy.
The Chef and the Captain will use this information to create a fully customised experience for you.

How many guests can be accommodated on board?

Most yachts can host 6 to 12 guests, depending on their interior layout.
Some superyachts over 80 metres, compliant with international certifications, can accommodate up to 36 guests.

Will I have Internet access during the charter?

Most yachts offer Wi-Fi on board, provided through mobile networks or satellite systems. The quality and speed of the connection may vary depending on the cruising area and the technology installed.

Is tipping the crew expected?

Tipping is not mandatory, but it is a well-established custom to show appreciation for the crew’s service.
International guidelines suggest an amount equal to 10–15% of the base charter fee as a reference.
