Sail and Work Experience
Jordache has been a yacht captain since 2018, sailing much of Africa and the Caribbean. He has consistently worked on large yachts, making him well-versed in the manoeuvring of boats such as MANE ET NOCTE. His two most recent charters have been in the Caribbean, providing him with excellent knowledge of the area. He also takes pride in his itinerary planning, meaning guests can be sure to have a special, tailored charter when travelling with Jordache.

Job Description
Jordache is responsible for navigation, safety, the overall running and financial management of the vessel, crew, and guests. He always ensures the safe and efficient operation of the yacht, including compliance with all safety procedures and regulations. He takes care of adhering to flag regulations, port state and local laws and regulations, and manages the crew to ensure adherence to, and a full understanding of, the vessel’s policies. He provides daily leadership for the crew and encourages teamwork, individual growth, and personal attention by delegating duties and supervising all crew tasks.

Natalia Villada Moreno - Stewardess

Natalia is at home aboard catamarans such as MANE ET NOCTE, having already completed two seasons with SASTA (Lagoon 78). Her work as a Secret Life stew also added to her skill-set when it comes to keeping a yacht in pristine condition. She is more than equipped to ensure guests have an enjoyable, stress-free time on board. Her prior experience as a facility manager honed her customer service skills and leadership, meaning she approaches life on board MANE ET NOCTE with an eye for detail and a valuing of personable client interactions.

Job Description
Natalia is responsible for organization, management, and cleanliness of all interiors. She maintains an accurate inventory of all service items and supplies. She ensures cleaning and preparation of the vessel to the highest standards prior to all guest trips. She is in charge of vessel provisioning for both guests and crew, and all aspects of daily life. When guests are onboard, she ensures they are properly cared for and that all their requirements are met. She offers a particular attention to details and has a polite and entertaining spirit.

Tjaart Prinsloo - Chef

Sail and Work Experience
Tjaart has nearly 10 years of culinary experience. In 2018, he opened his own coffee shop, and in 2023, he started running a restaurant. Seemingly always looking for a new challenge, Tjaart recently decided to bring his culinary skills to a more adventurous setting… the ocean. In 2025, he worked as a chef aboard the 35m motor yacht FLEUR, making him well-versed in galley set-up and food preparation with limited space and provisions. From casual lunches to more refined gastronomical experiences, Tjaart’s attention to detail and commitment to using global influences in his dishes means every dish is unforgettable.

Job Description
As the Chef, Tjaart is responsible for the crew and guest meals throughout the charter, ensuring that the food is enjoyable, that the interior of the yacht is clean and serviceable and that all dietary requirements are met. He is a creative cook, varying her meals to provide variety and according to the location of MANE ET NOCTE, to have as much relevance as possible to the region being visited.




Jake Lloyd Dyer - First Mate

Sail and work experience
Jake is highly experienced in the world of yachting, with almost 22 00nm logged. He has taken on both First Mate and Captain roles in the past, making him expert in understanding all aspects of operating a yacht such as MANE ET NOCTE. His other interests include scuba diving, kite surfing and bartending, making him an invaluable asset when it comes to entertainment on board. His easy-going attitude is balanced out by his medical and lifeguarding qualifications, meaning guests are able to feel truly at east when cruising with MANE ET NOCTE.

Job Description
Jake is responsible for all the machinery onboard, including all control, maintenance,
and repair systems. He manages all working engines, the generator and any electronics
systems, as well as the plumbing and hydraulic system. He also regularly assists the
captain in their duties, which includes navigation watch, radar control, and transatlantic
communication

Daniel Curko - Deckhand

Sail and work experience
Daniel has been a Deckhand aboard Mane et Nocte since May 2025. He takes pride in
his strong work ethic and focus on teamwork, and is there to ensure a safe and smooth
sail. Prior to his time aboard MANE ET NOCTE, he was a deckhand on another sailing
catamaran PELICAN, making him well-versed in yacht maintenance and detailing. Before
transitioning to life at sea, he worked as a carpentry assistant, so has lots of experience
is the world of practical work and a breadth of knowledge regarding construction
processes and site safety.
Job Description
Daniel supports both deck and interior operations, assisting with guest service, mooring,
water sports, general maintenance, and cleanliness of the vessel. He works closely with
the deck team and stewardess to ensure the smooth daily operation of the yacht and
a welcoming environment for guests.

How does the charter contract work?

The contract is signed directly between the Owner and the Charterer, with the support of the broker. It is usually based on the international MYBA contract model, designed to ensure clear and balanced protection for both parties.
There is also the figure of the Stakeholder, responsible for safely holding the funds until the end of the charter.

What is included in the charter fee?

The base rate includes the rental of the yacht, the use of all onboard equipment, the presence of the crew, and the related insurance coverage.
Operational expenses such as fuel, provisioning, marina fees, beverages, and additional activities are not included and are managed through the APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance).

The exact list of what is included or excluded will be confirmed when selecting the yacht.

What is the APA and how does it work?

The APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance) is an advance fund, usually equal to 25–35% of the charter fee, allocated to cover operational expenses such as fuel, provisioning, marina fees, paid activities, beverages, and the guests’ personalized requests.

At the end of the cruise, the Captain provides a detailed breakdown of all expenditures. Any unused amount is refunded to the client, while any overages are settled directly upon closing the charter.

What are the payment terms?

Upon signing the contract, a payment of 50% of the total amount is required.
The balance — including APA, taxes, and any additional charges — is typically due around five weeks before embarkation (depending on the owner).
Payments are made via bank transfer, which is the standard method in the luxury charter industry.

Can I cancel a booking?

Yes, cancellations are possible, but the contractual terms apply.
In general, if the client decides to withdraw, the Owner retains the deposits already paid.

If the yacht is rebooked for the same period, the Owner refunds the amount recovered, minus the applicable commissions.

Every cancellation request is handled with full transparency.

How can I choose the yacht that best suits my needs?

The choice depends primarily on the type of experience you wish to enjoy:

  • Motor yacht for maximum comfort, excellent stability, and fast transfers.

  • Sailing yacht for an authentic, quiet experience rooted in traditional navigation.

  • Catamaran for generous spaces, superior stability, and enhanced privacy.

How far in advance should I book?

For peak season (Mediterranean: June–September; Caribbean: December–April), it is advisable to book several months in advance to secure the best available options.

Is it possible to personalise menus, preferences, and activities?

Absolutely. Before departure, you will receive a Preference Sheet where you can indicate your tastes, dietary needs, allergies, beverage preferences, and the activities you wish to enjoy.
The Chef and the Captain will use this information to create a fully customised experience for you.

How many guests can be accommodated on board?

Most yachts can host 6 to 12 guests, depending on their interior layout.
Some superyachts over 80 metres, compliant with international certifications, can accommodate up to 36 guests.

Will I have Internet access during the charter?

Most yachts offer Wi-Fi on board, provided through mobile networks or satellite systems. The quality and speed of the connection may vary depending on the cruising area and the technology installed.

Is tipping the crew expected?

Tipping is not mandatory, but it is a well-established custom to show appreciation for the crew’s service.
International guidelines suggest an amount equal to 10–15% of the base charter fee as a reference.
